persa I use both Gimme Brow and the Nyx brow mascara. I definitely prefer Gimme Brow, I think it looks more natural and seems to fill in better.

However, the price difference makes the Nyx well worth buying. I keep it in my desk at work and it's more than adequate for everyday looks.

Ive been using the tightline and this brush for many years.  Maybe my brush need replacement because I don't feel like it's as precise anymore.  Can you recommend yours?
and BTW, I use the kat Von D tattoo liner when I don't want to deal with the other one and it is fabulous!

Mine is similar to that one but a mini version that came in the Jungle Chic palette. I had another one just like it (but full size) that I used for many years but I was having the same experience as you.

Also, since they aren't making the activator drops anymore, I bought a dropper bottle from container store and put water in it so my lazy butt doesn't have to get up to the sink each morning.

A new primer, either Cover FX or Becca mattifying. I tried a Becca sample, though, and it had a really odd texture
A purple eyeliner with the tip like Kat Von D or Stila stay all day - neither of which come in purple. Any suggestions?

If Sephora gives Rouges the $25 off of $50 coupon this year, I am leaning towards the four pan Nars dual intensity palette that is out. No way would I pay $49 for it, but I do really like the colors and think it would be a fun $25 treat.

How do you like the Nars TM? I'm using sheer glow but sometimes I wonder if I should just do a TM since I put so little on.

for the sephora 20% sale i'm planning to get the MUFE holiday palette because i love the nudes one i have so much. i'm considering a cologne for DH for christmas and clinique's chubby mascara in fun colors. i also may get the urban decay set of eyeliners and i can always be drawn in by one of the sephora favorites gift sets at the last minute.

Oh that's a good idea about the dropper bottle. It's a total PITA if I'm doing my makeup outside the bathroom. I've even thought about using setting spray as "activator", but have yet to try it.
