I know I'm late, but I wanted to thank some of you for ideas for my youngest's costume.
Oldest was one of the Three Musketeers with his two closest friends (I made the boot covers, gauntlets, and tunics) - Not a great picture in the first b/c I only have pictures with other kids. Tunic in the second.
Middle and youngest were Robin Hood (with a real hood) and Ty the T-Trux from Dinotrux (I made the tail with inspiration from you guys.)
So cute. We didn't but our preschool director has her dog at work each day and she put a squirrel riding a saddle on the back of her dog. It was funny b/c her dog LOVES chasing squirrels.
Thanks! She got a lot of compliments on it but people mostly thought she was from Angry Birds or was a "big chicken?"
A chicken?!
Well most adults had no idea what Dinotrux were and several adults asked my 7 year old if he was from "Assassian's Creed" rather than Robin Hood?! When he carried a bow later, but not to school events, he was pegged as Robin Hood.

I've learned a sizable number of adults don't know the difference between tigers and lions either, so that they can't distinguish major bird breeds didn't surprise me much. We heard "peacock" too.
I'm late too. DD had 2 costumes. She wanted to be Minnie Mouse so that is what she wore ToT, my MIL made her an Elsa dress so she wore that to her costume party on Friday at daycare.
