I feel that way right now. My babies are almost 4 weeks old and I just had my first crazy crying fit because they won't.stop.screaming. And DH has strep so he can't help with any of the kids because he's contagious. When do I get a sick day?

Jake and I say the temptation in our marriage isn't to cheat but more to escape to a hotel for a weekend with no partner and no kids.

This temptation increased pretty much the day the boys turned 3.

For Christmas and my birthday the last two years, I've asked for a hotel room. My H got all excited, like, "ooh, where should we go?" and was crestfallen when I looked him dead in the eyes and said, "WE aren't going ANYWHERE. I just want a room for myself, alone, with a glass(bottle) of wine and a bubble bath."

Still haven't gotten that gift - looks like I'll have to buy it for myself...

YES. Actually lately the dream has morphed into DS and I in a tiny little apartment. By ourselves. No H. No dog, No My Mom.

It would break DS' heart but OMG it would be AMAZING. Things are SO EASY when it's just the two of us.
