I've had a train case/makeup organizer on my wish list for a long time. I just remembered that my parents have my old caboodle still at their house and can grab it when I go home at Christmas. Score!
I had something on order from a local store and they kept screwing it up and it took two weeks to get, so they gave me a 20% discount on something that is usually excluded from discounts. Yay for saving $12!
MM wins...Mr. P's job is all about flow, pumps and tests, so he's pretty happy to work on our pool pumps. This is fabulous because our pool company charges $150 to even come out here, before they look at the equipment. He fixed a leak yesterday and that probably saved us $300-400+.
I mentioned to my mom that we need a full-size ironing board. She gave me her old one. I had to buy a cover/pad for it, though, so that was $9 from Target. But I ordered it for in-store pickup, so I got 13 cents back from eBates, lol. A whole ironing board would've been $20-30. And our actual iron crapped out recently and we would've had to buy a new one, but we just took FIL's when we were cleaning out his apartment.
We still need to sort through the gigantic pile of his stuff in our basement to see if there's anything worth keeping. Or selling. There are a ton of old Disney VHS tapes and MH saw that some of them are going for anywhere from $20-100 online. We can probably unload some small appliances on Craigslist, too ... it's just a matter of getting up the motivation to start tackling the huge pile.

Small wins but still wins... Target is doing some if you by 2-3 of x you get a Target gift card for $5-10. So I stocked up on paper towels (don't ask me what Boyfriend does with them but I have gone through more paper towels in the last 6 months than the last 2-3 years), tissues, swiffer dusters because dog fur makes dusting a whole new ball game, etc. So I got stuff we need for a good price and $15 of gift cards for later Christmas use.
I might try the BC trial (I haven't read through everything yet) and get free BC for a year so that would be a $1200+ savings.
I have enough empties to get a free MAC lip stick.
I did some serious deal shopping over the weekend. I found a bunch of polos for Boyfriend on clearance for $5-8 each (Izod/Chaps) and a Star Wars T-shirt for $4. I got long/thermal underwear for both of us for $15 a set (FYI Cuddle Duds makes a less expensive version like Assets are to Spanx) to keep us desert dwellers warm in New England. I started Christmas shopping for a bunch of people and found great gifts for them for really cheap.
I went through my stationary box and found enough cards from prior years after Christmas sales that I don't have to buy cards at all this year.
My husband got hotel points for not just his stay on a recent business trip, but the points for his three colleagues too. We're immediately applying all those points to two upcoming hotel reservations, saving us at least $300!

We bought plane tickets to chicago when the Cubs made the playoffs on the off chance they actually made it to the World Series. They did not but we can use the SWA credit for another trip. We are in the middle of a house renovation and just bleeding money BUT all these purchases added up to "erase" the cost of the plane tickets via our Capital One card. So now we bascially have $400 in free SWA plane tickets...we are likely going to go to Milwaukee for Summerfest for an annual trip friends take that we can never make from the East Coast.
I bragged about this in another thread but this weekend we bought a $900 washing machine for $398.

I am still waiting for our final bill for our flooring install but I negotiated better material pricing with the rep and should have about $400 in savings off the original number.
H got his yearly bonus yesterday and it's a couple grand higher than we expected!!! Europe 2016 here we come.
I got a $10 gift card at Target for spending $50 on food and drinks that I was purchasing already. I had the cashier separate my purchases and used it to pay for the other items I had. That plus the Red card and cartwheel gave me a trip savings of $22.58.

I've had a lot of good MM-style wins lately. I got lucky about a month ago when I won $73 from a slot machine. (I'm not normally a gambler but I was out with some people who were). I then converted this money and used it to go wine tasting in Canada (favorable exchange rate increased the value). I bought ice wine with my winnings, taking advantage of some discounts for purchasing during the wine tasting as well.
I needed some new sweaters/wintry clothing and got them at 40% off. Also, my birthday is during this month and a nice perk is that I get birthday discount coupons that I can apply on Black Friday in combination with those discounts, so I am actually someone who will brave the crowds on Black Friday for Christmas shopping and things that I like. I'm not a big spender but being able to apply multiple discounts is awesome.
We got a Playstation 4 from Target last week for $240 due to some stacking coupons. That is $110 cheaper than normal, and $50 cheaper than the planned Black Friday price.
I failed to pay my hospital bill on time, so for paying within 30 days of a final notice, they randomly gave me 10% off my bill. Umm, score for being irresponsible?
I'm thinking really hard, but nothing comes to mind. I did just order two new pairs of glasses from Zenni for $75, and my eye exam was only $40. Does that count? Because in a non MM world, I would have already paid a few grand to get my eyes fixed.

We needed a new subwoofer for our surround sound system because our current one is not powered. We have been looking for a month or so trying to decide what to get. Then, on Wednesday night, our center speaker went out. We were going to buy them this week because it is making TV/Netflix watching pretty difficult. The prices we looked at for the individual speakers we about $130 for the subwoofer and $45 for a cheap center speaker. I ended up finding an entire 6-speaker set that was better quality than the individual speakers we looked at and the whole set was marked down from $299 to $97. Woohoo! Not only is it way cheaper than the original price but I am getting an entire set of speakers for $78 less than what I planned to pay for just two speakers.

These are little things, but my new dry cleaner gives a 5% discount if you pay when you drop off. I'm not sure why they care, but I'll take it. I don't usually shop at Kohls, but I had some Kohls cash that my mom gave me and between that and a 30% off coupon, I got 3 pairs of capri leggings for $8.

I get those baby food surveys in the mail all the time. They always say random people win $50 every month and each time you do a survey you are entered. I thought it wasn't likely but I won last month and just got $50! It's all going towards Christmas presents but it's nice to have a little bit of help.
A few months ago I got some free amazon gc's and used those for Christmas too. Our OOP for Christmas is smaller so I can spend more on my own kid and H!

That's awesome! I once won a $250.00 visa gift card in a Tom's of Maine survey. I bought a new grill with it!
Our insurance company took our claim to aribitration with company who insures the other driver. They can't prove the other driver is 100% at fault, but they were found to be partially at fault and we received a refund check for 50% of our deductible.
Our car insurance renewal quote is also at a record low for us, I'm not sure how that happened.
I received my most recent eBates check in the mail this week, which was a nice surprise. To make it even more MM, I am shamelessly adding my referral link here in case anyone still hasn't signed up and wants to:
My student loans are below $5k! Now at $4991. I'm beginning to finally realize that some day this will all be over <)
(I graduated in 2004)
Omigosh, when you're that close, are you tempted to just pull the trigger and pay them off? (And then throw a party.) My grad school loans just dipped under $10K last month. I don't have the cash, but if I did, I would be SO TEMPTED to just end it. I paid off a smaller one of $2K with a low interest rate earlier this year just because I hate Navient with wild abandon.
Sooooort of... When I graduated I had about $70,000 that was at 7+% interest, so I'm really glad that I pushed hard to get those behind me quickly.
But the rest of them, that I consolidated at 2.8%? I actually have a lot of regrets about making some large lump sum payments along the way to get the balances down. I should have invested that money instead.
My monthly payment nowadays is $98 -- ha! (In many months, my UPromise account makes higher payments than I do.) So they aren't hurting me, but on the other hand they do nag me. Oh well.

Dh's fave bag of Starbucks coffee is usually around $10 a bag, it was on sale for $4.99 so I bought him 3 (the max). I saw today that starting tomorrow Starbucks is offering bonus stars on those bags of coffee, so if he enters star codes for those 3 plus another he has, he'll get 16 bonus stars.
My husband wanted to find a basketball hoop for our daughter. We were thrilled to walk into goodwill one day and find one for $7 which normally runs for $40ish dollars.
I've been needing to find a larger hard drive for my computer and was able to score a 250gb on sale at newegg.
Last of all, I got some Christmas shopping done using the coupon code at target to save something like 30% off toys some of which were on sale too. Score!
I'm ordering cookies for our school gingerbread night. Historically the prices have been $5/cookie and we buy 4/$10 from Costco plus additional candy and stuff. This year they aren't being sold at Costco, but I found single kits at Winco for about $5/each. Called to check on availability and can I order and newp, that's all for the season and we only have six left in the store. Contacted the vendor, who contacted the buyer for the store, and they agreed to make a bulk order for me. Asked if they could give me a little bit of a price break so it's break-even instead of losing money. They gave me a pretty decent price break. Then called the vendor, who agreed to an additional price break. I'm getting the cookie kits at about 60% off between the two companies donating.
