I continue to be surprised by the complete lack of reading comprehension...from faculty. This all happened today:
1. Email to faculty: "Meeting is confirmed for 10AM on 11/23/15 in Bob's office."
Separate calendar invite: Title- Meeting topic Time and date- 10AM on 11/23/15 Location- Bob's office, 123 Main Street Room 1
Reply from faculty: "Thanks, where are we meeting?"
2. Email to faculty from office email address: "If you have questions about XYZ timeline, please email thepersoninchargeofthis@school.edu. Please do not reply to this email."
43 emails from faculty to office email address.
3. Email from Alisha@school.edu: "Blah blah blah. Thanks, Alisha."
Reply from faculty WHO I HAVE WORKED WITH FOR 10 YEARS: "Dear Alicia,"

Faculty...they are breed of their own.
We had a reply-all war in the spring over changes to parking lots/rules. I think we reached almost 100 replies (about 1100 faculty and staff got the email). I would say about 95% of the emails were faculty.

I wish there wasn't a reply all feature because of how badly it gets abused. I'm forever getting emails that should probably be private and responding directly to HR, because 'reply all' is hit.
