I would inform her that you'll be going out for dinner.
How rude can someone be?
I know right. She even said I know it's rude to invite other people. Uh no shit. She never even offered to bring anything. Ugh
Um....wtf? Can you say no? Thats fucking ballsy, man.
Im off this week, yay. Its my favorite use of vacation time. Today i took myself to see the hunger games at the theater with leather recliners. And spent the rest of the day flirting with the cute boy im supposed to meet this week. Now food shopping, then orange theory. Not a bad monday.
taratru I hope she takes a good nap at some point today.
venice2007 - What in the actual fuck? people seriously do that?
Begin string of random thoughts:
Solid Monday for me - I'm working at home all week (hooray no commute!) and one kid is home from school, one is getting picked up early. The puppy is super cute - except that she has discovered the laundry hamper with all my balled balegas and she thinks that $11 socks are super fun to chew.
Legs are feeling good after a big 3 days - long run, then 60 miles (on the trainer! no free wheeling and all kinds of mental toughness built up to get through the boredom), then another swim clinic, and right into this week of running. I really like the coach of my tri club - she seems super helpful so far and I think this will really help my tri game. I already feel a huge difference in my swim from the first two clinics.
My friend asked me to pace her through the last 9 miles of CIM in two weeks as she tries to BQ again. Oy - that's a pretty quick pace for me. It would be close to my HM PR pace, but only for 9 miles. I feel like that's a lot of responsibility, like I need to shepherd her through to the finish line. But since it's kind of pushing my capability, all engines have to be firing really well or else I'll fail her! I know it's not really as big a deal as I'm making it out to be, she can do it on her own with our without me. But still in my head I feel a lot of pressure!

I'd like to say no but the couple lives an hour plus away and had errands so they had already left. And now my friend/cousins wife will be late. The guys are still golfing and the other family will be here any minute. I've no idea who these people are and I would just say eat out but we have tday, party out Friday and football party Saturday, so less crap food for me the better. So here I cook tacos/salads for late people and people I don't know. And not ONE has offered anything. I mean I don't mind hosting but at least offer SOMETHING. WTF

I'd be nervous too! You'll be great. I'm sure she really appreciates it.
My friend is trying to get a trials qualifying time at CIM and she said they have a 2:43 pacer this year. How fucking fast do you need to be to be a 2:43 pacer? Apparently 2:26 fast. I looked it up. Crazy!
taratru good night of sleep wishes coming your way! venice2007 seriously, wtf?!
I'm packing up to leave tomorrow and it is such a PITA to get everyone packed when I'm solo with the girls. Everyone, entertain yourself for 15 minutes and I will be DONE! Also, I bought cute dresses for the girls & a sweater for H for t-day and didn't even think about what I will wear?! Faaack I always look like the frumpy dump on holidays when I'm getting everyone else ready.

I'm hoping they show up with something- wine, some flowers, dessert, something.
