I'd like to treat myself to some for Christmas. I know Frye's are the best - but there are so many styles. I get so overwhelmed looking at all the different styles. Where can you try them on in store? Do you buy boots online? Any other recommendations? Comments? Suggestions?
Nordstrom carries Fryes. But honestly, anyplace with free shipping and free returns works for me! I buy most of my shoes from amazon now (and they do free returns)
I've been looking on amazon, it's just hard for me to decide what style/color to go with - too many choices!

I was just thinking about new boots this morning too! I have to try them on though. I have ridiculously large calves, so finding boys that I can actually zip up is a challenge. There's a plus size store nearby that I've bought boots from in the past, that's usually my first stop.

Sadly, I still have to buy shoes for the wedding before I can buy boots. Is it wierd to buy heels for the ceremony, and a separate pair of flats for the reception?

Try as many on as you can. I love my fetes and they are 3 years old and look new. However I couldn't wear the original ones I wanted they hit my knee cap in a weird way. I forget the name of the actual boot I have.
