I would like some smooth, crisp, cool bedsheets ... we currently have one set like this (an old cheapo set from JC Penny Home) and just keep washing it and re-making the bed. Our other sheets aren't smooth and some are flannel, and I just don't like the way they feel. I sleep a lot easier on a very smooth pillowcase.
Does anyone have Boll and Branch sheets? MH has heard their commercials on Howard Stern's show. They are pricey, though.
I saw a Laura Ashley set I liked in Macy's Backstage, and I know to check Marshall's/TJ Maxx as well. Any other recommendations?

I like the royal velvet ones from jcpenney. I'm not sure if they are called sateen but they feel like it. Silky soft and cool plus they fit our thick mattress nicely.
I got a pair of organic ones from txmaxx for $60 which I think is a lot but they are fabulous. They came in a bag if you go in there looking. It's some unknown to me brand.

The Ver Wang ones from kohls also meet your requirements. Cool, crisp. We got them for like $120 a set on sale there (king size). We have several sets that have held up well for many years now.
