I am currently the woman who cuts out of work on a Tuesday, and lets her child zone out on the iPad in the beer store as I wait in line for 45 minutes to buy Pliny.
I am currently eating my way through Boston's North End. Figure I might as well since next time I'm here, I won't be able to until after the marathon. Yum! At least I am doing my fair share of walking and a few runs already.
It's a fancy beer and not easy to come by. I wait....
Woohoo for half day tomorrow!
I currently have 4 bottles of it in my fridge, because my BIL is awesome, newly 21, and from CA. Wheeeeee!! They had a one bottle limit, so he went back 4 times. LOL He had 7 bottles/bombers of beer shoved it his suitcase.

Awesome! We went to a wedding once and instead of center pieces they had Pliny growlers. i don't think my husband has ever been happier.

DH and I make a trip to Russian River every time we are in Cali:) My favs are their sour beers.
Guy i was supposed to hanf out with today disappeared, guy i was super excited to meet tomorrow bailed with a lame excuse (saved me the trouble, im guessing he has a gf). Guys suck, man.
I got a job and I start December 7th. My biggest concern is how this is going to impact marathon training lol.
Congrats! And that's my birthday!
I am really looking forward to leading spin and then going out to my favorite wine bar with a friend I haven't seen in a long time.
Poor DH will be at home, alone and very hungry (he has a procedure tomorrow, so he is on the jello and 7 up diet.) I think I'm being kind by going out (no food smell in the house!), but he disagrees. Sorry buddy.

My random is even though there is no way I can run a half, I looked up flights to Charleston after lb2006 posted yesterday that there is a Charleston spot open to see how expensive it would be to sherpa, lol.

DH is stuck at work late and it was supposed to be date night. So I'm eating mashed potatoes for dinner, and having my dessert in a glass....sorry this pic is huge. damn app.
Not that it's a big deal, but I'm unplugging until Sunday, so you'll be in suspense about how my 10K went. Okay, you totally won't be, but I just wanted to put it out there that I (probably) didn't die at the Louisville YMCA turkey trot

I'm on day 8 of no power and crashing at my inlaws. No frozen pipes yet, but I wanna go home and sleep in my own bed. I also wanted to restock our fridge and freezer before my work week starts on Thanksgiving. Don't think that's happening!
There were actually linemen on my street today, and my DD and I brought them homemade cookies and coffee to go from Starbucks. It's cold and snowy today. I read today that my zip code was among the top 3 hardest hit in our windstorm last Tuesday.
Our insurance said everyone is so backed up in our city that they'll send an adjuster out to inspect my husband's car and it will get towed at a later date. So we have a crushed car in front of our house for a while. Classy lol. The city did clean up the tree on Sunday though, so at least that's gone.
I sound whiny. Sorry! DH and I are going to Mockingjay tonight in a theater with recliners and I'm pumped about that!
UPDATE: we have POWER. 170hrs later. Looking forward to a warm house and cold fridge to restock tomorrow. I'm so happy I could cry!

That's why we are staying so long after the race.
When do you leave? We're there until Wednesday, but I'm trying to convince DH that since we're at a major hub, instead of heading home, we should head to Europe. LOL

There is a 5k!!!!!!
Ahh this is so tempting! Let me talk to my H and see if I get the go-ahead. The spot is still available, correct?

I read about this today! Insane how long you guys have been without power! Glad it's back on!
