I finished all of my parent teacher conferences yesterday! I did 15 of them o Monday. I'm laying on my couch in my robe deciding if I want to get to get more coffee! I'm beat!

Clothes, toys, you name it. For some of the items I'm like "Heh, you call 25% off a discount?"
Nothing we really need, so I can wait it out, lol.

I love that I can still ask my coach from my home running group about my marathon plan. He's such an awesome guy. And I'm so glad you girls talked me out of Pfitz. I would've died on that plan, I tallied up my miles for him and I only managed to run 27 miles on average over the last training cycle. Lol how did I pull it off? No idea. Also he thinks I can break 4 hours if I actually run more than that, true that. He's a wise man.
Y'all. Why is swimming SO HARD?!?! I feel like I'm floundering around, and I hate having my face in the water so so much. And I had a mini panic attack when some guy at the gym wanted to share my lane. There's just so much to think about. So in my 40 minutes at the pool, I did 20 minutes of running, 15 minutes of random strokes, and 5 minutes on the kickboard. I really like backstroke, though...it's so quiet, it's like running.
Tell me this is normal. Tell me it's totally fine to only make it like 15 meters in freestyle before having to do breaststroke. Tell me how to get better.

I'm cranky because DH has to work tomorrow, and Christmas. fuck this job. have i told you how much I hate it lately? L O L.. Sorry.
But seriously. it's like 80* and it just doesn't feel like the holidays at all. If it weren't for DD I don't think we would even get a tree this year.
I am running a turkey trot in the morning, it's supposed to be 64 at the start... hopefully I can finish in the top 100 and get a cool mug! I haven't raced a 5k in a hot minute, I'm skeerd. I'm hoping for a 7:55avg, LOLZ. I crack myself up. But if I can run a 8:05 avg on 6 mile training run, then I think I can hit 7:55.. Who knows. We shall see.
We went up to our cabin in the woods on Monday (came home today) and it was SO NICE. I could live there.. except for it's in the middle of no where, and there is no place to run, so, actually, I couldn't live there - but I could definitely spend a lot of time up there this winter. ... I should say, "winter" .. because while we had a few days of cooler weather, we are not back into the high 80s for the next 10 days.
