So what do you wear on Thanksgiving?

There will only be 4 of us - H, his parents, and me. At our apartment. H's parents will be taking a cab back to their hotel because that wine ain't gonna drink itself.

On the one hand, I'm thinking that since I plan to bust out the nice china and use a tablecloth, I should wear a dress. Or at least jeans.

OTOH, I'm like, "WINE AND PIE! NOM NOM NOM!" and feel like wearing PJ pants for getting drunk and stuffed (phrasing!) would be so much more comfortable.

But if we had people over I'd wear my comfy sweater dress, or another comfy casual dress. And maybe leggings depending on whether or not I plan on shaving my legs (I don't.)

I don't own any leggings. And my only stretchy/fat pants are PJs.

Maybe a dress and skip the tights? Our apartment is approximately 9 billion degrees.

I'm totally rocking leggings and a tunic again this year. They are fantastic eating pants.

Eta: it's just my H and me this year and while I will break out the china, I'm not dressing up.

I'm planning on leggings, a tunic, and a long loose cardigan. With boots and a colorful necklace to make it look more like an outfit. It's really comfortable, somewhat in style, and when I get really full I can wrap my cardigan better so I'm not self conscious about my belly.

Walgreens has $6 leggings. Go buy a pair just for that day!

We travel out of town to the country to have Thanksgiving with family. So we have to actually get dressed.

I always get hot, so I wear the t-shirt while I'm cooking, then throw the cardigan for some family pics.

Lol. They are not nice, but if OP doesn't normally wear leggings they'd do for 1 day without having to invest much in them!
