My ILs are so disorganized and rude. We just were informed now (7:00 pm) that we are making/bringing the turkey to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, despite asking for several days "what can we bring?" DH is headed to the store; hopefully he can find an unfrozen turkey.

Holy crap, who does that the NIGHT before? Turkeys take planning!

Whole foods has smoked turkeys. Idk if yours has any left but they are tasty!

I just had the longest most annoying hour drive ever. DS whined the entire drive about eating a vitamin. No, you already had one, and no, I dont have a vitamin dispenser in the car.
Now he's here at my parents and yelling "grandpa, help!" Over and over while they build Lego towers. Thank god it's not me
Wtf ladygrey!? Um...kind of important to know that you're in charge of the main damn meal portion.
H and I were having a simple discussion about something annoying and he raised his voice at me when I pressed the issue. Cue me crying like a kid whose parents yelled at her and leaving the room. It doesn't even matter and I was crying for a good solid 10 minutes afterward. Hormones, man.

I just rolled out my apple pie crust and it looks like a hot mess. Damn gluten free flour. Oh well, hopefully it tastes ok - at least it should once it's filled with apples, sugar, and sour cream.

I forgot how my mom has phones in every room with the ringers on volume 10. My brother called right after I put dd down and the phone woke her up. I had to read the freaking instruction manual to learn how to shut off the ringer. Wtf mom? You don't need an extension in each room.
DH and I took an hour after work and power cleaned our whole house. My house is so clean I could host tomorrow. I'm not hosting, but I could! I love when the entire house is totally clean, dusted, vacuumed and organized. Makes going into a long weekend even better.
DD and I made pumpkin pie tonight and she loved it. She was great tonight, it was just so fun. Tomorrow morning we will make my favorite- apple pie!

I got a pedicure this afternoon. I was the only one in there besides two girlfriends who were getting manicures. One asked loudly "are pregnant women supposed to get pedicures?!"
I'm doing Ferber with DS tonight, since his wakeups have gotten out of control (he's stuck on nursing to sleep). At first it seemed to be going well, but we're about 40 minutes in. I'm planning to go to sleep myself in about 45 minutes so if he's not asleep in 30 I'm giving up for the night and trying to nurse him to sleep.
We drove 4 hours to my in laws, the girls were troopers until the last hour where I got to hear "mom pick you up". My MIL dropped and broke my iPad and one of the girls wouldn't sleep. Beer me.

I just laid out my time plan for tomorrow. It seems pretty easy, actually. I will need to run to the store for a few last minute things, but since I'm going to be up at 6 tomorrow morning, it shouldn't be too bad.
I just had sex for the first time since before DD was born. I was so anxious about it but it was actually really good and didn't hurt! I shouldn't have waited so long!
House is clean, bags are packed and pumpkin pie is made. All that is left to do is pack the car and go to the ILs tomorrow morning for Thanksgiving. I am downloading all the Daniel Tiger, Curious George and Sesame Street using the Amazon Prime Video App for DS to watch in the car.
I have to work overnight tonight without getting more than a 20 minute nap tonight. It is going to be a long night and I know we are super busy. Luckily I will be able to get a few hours of sleep in the morning before we head out for thanksgiving since we are doing supper instead of lunch this year. I am so tired.
Debating if I should take a Diclegis before work because it will make me more tired. Can't decide if it's worse to be super tired at work or throwing up at work.

Ok I feel odd liking this, but I am glad. I know you were nervous.

Don't feel odd, lol. I felt odd because I wanted to tag brandienee to tell her about it but didn't. So instead I tagged her here, lol.

Success! At least so far, it only took about an hour and fifteen minutes of crying Hopefully the wakeups go ok, going to try not to feed before 2am (he's only been eating MOTN for comfort).
I just bought my soon to be 11 year old nephew the game Pie Face on Amazon. He should get it on his birthday next week. I texted my sister and didn't tell her what it is but said that I want a video when they first use it. Now she's all excited to know what it is too. I hope it's lots of fun and he brings it to family Christmas.

Evidently my MIL is too sick to cook, but not too sick to host at their house. It's always such a shitshow with DH's family.
Update: we have a fresh turkey being brined right now. Thank god DH is taking the lead on this because I have ZERO fucks to give anymore.
I was waffling on purchasing DH the smartwatch I know he wants when somehow Target emailed me that DH bought me an AppleWatch for Christmas (it's the receipt). I have no idea why I got it but I did. (I'm biting my tongue because he didn't use ebates OR my redcard but he did get the $100 gift card promo so I'm going to let it go.)
But I'm frustrated that he's managed to choose the 1 item that will not be discounted in any way. Ugh. Moto 360 2nd gen, customized on the motorola website, for anyone else smartwatch shopping. Dammit.

I placed a Kohl's order Monday and have since received three "your order shipped!" emails. All with different tracking numbers and origin locations. Bets on if I now have three sets of the order that I now have to deal with returning? I'll have to double check that my credit card wasn't charged three times, but I doubt it since I just got one Kohl's cash email.
I'm currently sitting in the bar of a smancy boutique hotel listening to live music drinking a mannys and eating incredibly unhealthy food. This is my first night away from dd. Dh is wiped out and taking a nap in the room. We get home tomorrow afternoon just in time for thanksgiving at my parents house. I'm so freakin excited to sleep through the night for the first time in a year! (I'm counting when I was pregnant and waking up to pee a million times a night. Dd is only 9 months old)
