I'm up because I'm meeting a friend for an early run. I think she wants to do 8 miles. Then DH and I may take our son to DC because all of the museums are supposed to be open today. We're not hosting dinner, and I've already prepped the food I'm taking to dinner. We want to get out of the house for a little bit before we stuff ourselves later.
We flew to another island this morning to spend the long weekend at the beach. We just got back from Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we're on a rural island in Asia, the hotel here made an effort to make a traditional turkey dinner, which was really pretty good.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I'm thankful for you all. Good luck, racers!
Happy trotting! Happy eating! Thankful to be able to watch this impressive group of ladies kicking ass every day!
I'm up just because we are all sleeping terribly at my parents house. I'm mentally preparing for two families and two t-day dinners and an entire bottle of wine.
I just woke up! Messing around online for 20ish min before it is time to get up and ready for the turkey trot. I am thankful for a race that starts at 9am! It is raining now, but hopefully will stop soon.

Happy Thanksgiving ladies!
Sitting in my car waiting to line up for my 10k in about 30 mins. Felt the need for some prophylactic Immodium on my way out of the house this morning...so yeah, should be interesting.
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm trying to get my butt in gear for a short run. Then I will haul a whole bunch of food and sweets to the farm and see what work awaits me. :-)
Some of my neighbors organized an informal turkey trot and it looks like there was a lot of interest. DH and the older kids will run, and the little one and I will cheer. The start and finish are conveniently at the end of the street.

Happy Thanksgiving! Going to head out to the start in a little while. The temps are OK, but there are 15-20 mph winds. As long as their at my back when I have to get up the really big hills, I'll survive.

Happy Thanksgiving H&F! I'm up getting ready for my Turkey Trot. It's going to be interesting I was out last night with friends and I have no idea how my knee is going to feel. Still excited to trot!
I'm up and about to get ready for my Turkey Trot. So glad it starts at 8 vs 7 like all the other races I've done.
My SIL and her SIL are dressing up. One as a pilgrim and the other as a Native American. I'm wondering if anyone will say something because of the whole cultural (mis?) appropriation thing. The one dressing up as a Native American is white as can be. I'll be in my normal running clothes not offending anyone.
I feel like I want to go easy on this run. Yesterday I ramped up my 2 miler at the last 3/4 mile to be in the 9s and I didn't like it. I prefer slower and comfortable.
