Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm up and getting ready, but everyone else is sleeping. We need to hit the road within the next two hours if we stand any chance of getting out of here ahead of the ice storm. Woo hoo! Thanksgiving stranded on the highway with a toddler just doesn't sound appealing.
Stopping at wawa for breakfast then on to the ILs for thanksgiving.
Funny story --
This morning DH was getting ds ready in the nursery in the clothes I picked out (button down shirt and vneck sweater with jeans). I walk in and ds is having an all out temper tantrum with kicking and screaming on the floor and real tears. DH just shrugged and said he didn't want to wear the shirt. I said where's his sweater? He said he was wearing it and I said uhh no he's not and he said yes he is its under his shirt! Lol I asked why he put it on under his shirt and he said to keep him warm lol. Smh
I am at an amazing and crazy busy park in Fairfax County wearing out DS, my nephew, and niece while everyone else cooks. Since I know we are NoVA heavy on this board I keep thinking "what if one of the MMM is here." Most of the moms have very "us" attire, strollers, diaper bags, infant carriers, etc.
So, anyone else taking advantage of the amazing DC area weather and at a park in the Langley area?
