Are you having your 3 yo pick out a present for your husband this year? I'm thinking about having C1 pick something out for him this year, which will be a first, but I have no clue what. DH is a pain to shop for anyway. He always only wants money because everything he wants is thousands of dollars, so way beyond our Christmas, birthday, or any other occasion budget. I refuse to only give him money, and usually buy him a couple things and give him the rest of the budget in money. I don't know if this is the year to add C1 to the mix, and I dread it as one more headache. Augh!

Well Daniel told me today that daddy really wanted a toy for Christmas. I'm half tempted to let him pick out a toy, they can play with it together right?
I'm also planning to let him pick out a toy for A but I'm planning to get him the same thing from A so in going to be strongly suggesting a particular toy.
he thinks everyone wants paw patrol pups so I'm sure he will assign one to H... so no I don't think he's buying him anything this year. Maybe daycare will make something
I've gotten a tinkertoy set and a paper airplane folding book for DH in the past from the kids. This year they're giving him snowshoes so we can go as a family (I already have a pair).
Mila picked a tie for him last year. (He LOVES ties). I just told her she was going to pick out a tie and I let her select which one she wanted to get him.
I told her it was a secret so she WHISPERED "daddy, we got you a tie!" Lol
My mom volunteers at a thrift shop and j loves to go with her on their days together. So she had him pick out gifts together at the shop to give to each family member. He loves that he had secret presents for everyone. He keeps looking for something else for Dh at home depot, so we will probably get him somethingthere.

I mentioned in other posts about a local pottery studio's "Secret Elf." I'm dropping Andrew off and he's picking and painting pottery pieces for DH and the grandparents. They'll wrap them up and label them, so he's the only one who will know what he painted.
