My eyes are sad because the 80's are back. That was my first thought.
My second thought was "Those girls look young...oh shit, Im old - wait, are they too young? I can't tell. Yes, Im old" lol.
Then I was surprised that he can sing and his voice is quite nice. This is the first Justin Beiber song I have ever consciously heard. I mean, I might have heard one on the radio in someone car or in the background at a food place, but never noticed or knew who it was. I only listened because you posted it lol. Lastly, I thought the lyrics were okay, but the music was just bland and boring - but again, thats just me. Its rare for a popular artist to do anything for me.
The first Adele song I ever heard was "Hello" lol. My world is so far away from that stuff. I thought Hello was amazingly good and that Adele lives up to the hype.
This song? Sounds like all the other songs that sound like this. So I can't tell if its good or not.
The video is fun. I don't feel like it relates to the song, which I also like, but I don't know. We have some mutual friends (bieber is from my hometown. I don't know HIM at all, just his friends parents because I'm old lol) and anyway there's a lot of concern over his drug use so part of me wonders if he's not in the video because he's not sober.
Ok, so I picked out that there were no black people either, it took me a second to figure out what felt 'off', but it was that.
Turns out, while there are no black people in the video, there are many POC...the group that did this video (and many videos for his whole album), are from New Zealand and the lead choreographer, as well as many of the dancers, are Polynesian.
The comment section for the article I posted was a very interesting read.

I was going to say the same as the others:
1. Video is like a fan club from Ohio getting together and making a video for Bieber - not a video about being sorry for treating your lady like a bootie call. 2. No black women and the Ohio dance troupe isn't bad, but could have been better.
I sat behind this guy on the bus a couple weeks ago, and he watched this (well, not THIS video, but the original one) video over and over and over again. From the time we got on, to 40 minutes later when his stop came up, and for all I know, after that too.
