Oh noooo! H did that a few years ago while he was training in Florida. Thankfully I was there visiting him when it happened and he had his military ID in his pocket, so he wasn't totally SOL, but it was still so frustrating.
Oh no! Have you re-traced your drive? It would be hard to see it in the dark now, but maybe in the morning.
I'm optimistic that it'll be returned to you or you will find it. I did that in a Kohl's parking lot once. If I remember correctly, someone turned it in to customer service, and then one of their employees brought it to my house before I ever even realized it was missing! (DS1 was only a few months old.) There are lots of good people in the world...hopefully one of them will find your wallet!

Oh no!
We found a wallet over the summer. We drove it out to the house on the driver's license. It turned out to be our neighbor's brother, but we had no way of knowing that. I hope someone honest finds your wallet too.

Oh damn! That sucks. Did you call the local police station? Some nice people will turn in wallets or will try to locate the owner. Also, post on Facebook.

Oh no Thinking good thoughts that some nice person found it and will be shortly arriving at your door with it, all credit cards and social security card intact.
