My end goal race is a spring 50k, but Charleston Half is the next race on my calendar.
Life is crazy right now and I'm just trying to get my miles in. I just purchased a house and coordinating contractors and moving during the holidays will be the death of me.
What are you training for? Date? Charleston 1/2 in January
I started PT and the ankle is recovering well. It is weaker and my balance is off, but it is only painful to the touch or in certain movements now. It is bruised and only a little swollen. Last week it was huge! Hoping for a test run soon since walking is fine. I should be more than ready for Charleston.
What are you training for? Date? 5k 12/5, 4 miler 12/31, 5k 1/16, runners world run streak
What is your training plan for the week? Monday: 2 miles Tuesday: 1 mile Wednesday: 2.5 miles Thursday: 2 miles Friday: 1 mile Saturday: 5k Sunday: 1 mile * This week's focus? Getting my mile in each day! * What are you excited for? Another 5k with my family on Saturday Highlights or AW's from the past week? Loved running the 5k with my sister last weekend, can't wait to run another with her this weekend, plus adding in my sister in law, brother, and mom to the mix!
What are you training for? Date? Ugly Sweater 5K, Charleston Half 1/16, RNR DC 3/12, Cherry Blossom 10M, Boston Marathon 4/18 [/b] What is your training plan for the week? * This week's focus? Getting my eating under control after Thanksgiving indulgence * What are you excited for? Moving up to running 3 times this week instead of 2!
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? This is a total whine, but I have too many fun things planned with delicious food/drink. LOL. I do good with a normal schedule, but when I have parties and stuff I have zero will power and eat/drink all the yummy things.
Highlights or AW's from the past week?I signed up for my first post broken ankle race, Ugly Sweater 5K. I'm running it with H and some friends. Should be a fun, easy race and we got a good deal on it.

Highlights or AW's from the past week? 8k PR at the Turkey Trot. Nailed all my runs and paces.
What are you training for? Date? Charleston half in January
What is your training plan for the week? I am just starting training this week. I took several weeks off after Chicago to really heal up the hip and I think it's finally there. I've been doing CF for the last 2 weeks without modifications. I think I'm going to do the HH novice 2 plan and jump weeks since its obviously less than 12 weeks out at this point! * This week's focus? Getting back to a regular running schedule, not pushing it, remain injury-free. Healthy eating. * What are you excited for? RUNNING! The lack of running plus Christmas stuff has made me into a complete crazy person.
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? I am kind of afraid to train because I am afraid of injury. My hip was the first real injury I've had since before my first marathon in 2010. And it freaking sucked.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? I was able to hit full range of motion last week and this week on back squats, and I did a WOD with 800's and 400's with no pain (and ran them hard). It felt amazeballs to run fast, even though it was only a few intervals.

What is your training plan for the week? Mon - 2 miles Tues - 4 miles Wed - 3 miles Thurs - Bootcamp + 1-2 miles Fri - 3 miles Sat - 6 miles Sun - 3 miles

Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? n/a

What is your training plan for the week? M,W,F - CF S and/or Sun - run
* This week's focus? Nothing * What are you excited for? Nothing
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? None
Highlights or AW's from the past week? I lost weight vs gaining over the long Thanksgiving weekend. This was as of yesterday. I didn't want to see what today brought.
What are you training for? Date? Most immediately, the San Antonio RnR Half on Sunday. Then two days after Christmas I start my training for the Shamrock Full!
What is your training plan for the week?
T - 4 W - 30 min tempo Th - 3 easy F - Probably 3 S - Rest - walk around San Antonio S - Half! First race in 6 months!
* This week's focus? I guess tapering * What are you excited for? I'm anxious/excited to see how I do on Sunday. I think it'll be a nice gauge to see how fast I can run these days and if a sub-4 marathon should still be my goal come March.
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? I have my work Christmas party on Friday. We'll see if I can keep the carb loading to a minimum so Saturday is more of a pre-race rest, vs. hangover recovery day.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Not really.
