Same. I give it a 6 on a 1-10, but what I have to give Atlanta credit for always, is that it's a very easy place to live. I find it lacking in some areas, but I appreciate the COL, the weather, aesthetically, it's appealing. I think some cities you have to fight to live in--some of my favorites are cold, expensive, even dirty. Atlanta just wants to give you affordable housing, mostly sunny days and a decent amount of green space. It's hard to hate on it, yet I am up to the challenge .
Can I ask what are a few of the things that you love about it?
Like sfy mentioned, the weather and COL are great. What I love most about Atlanta is that there is always something to do. You can always find a concert, sporting event, comedy show, festival, art exhibit - anything you want, really. I also love that it's a manageable drive to so many places. I can easily take a weekend trip to the beach, Nashville, Athens, Savannah, Charleston...so many places. I like how diverse the city is. I like the parks. The people are generally nice here. The food is good. Hartsfield Jackson is convenient. You can fly to almost anywhere from here.
The only thing that really stands out to me as a con is the traffic. It can be really miserable. But it all depends on where you live and where you work. The worst of the traffic can be avoided.

I live in Decatur, just outside the city of Atlanta. There is lots to do, pretty much year round, we have great restaurants within walking distance, parks, trails, ect, and there is a festival or something pretty much every week. Our tenants live in the City of Atlanta, in Inman Park and Poncey Highlands. A couple of them are hot single guys with good jobs. We just got a new hipster 40 ish guy who moved here from LA to work on the movies this month. We also several have kidless friends who live on the west side, and they have a lot of attractive single friends at their parties (West Midtown area, south west of Georgia Tech). All of these places have great shops, restaurants, and outdoor spaces, and with the exception of Decatur, attractive single men.
