Did you post a pic of yourself wearing this recently? If it is what I am thinking of, it's so pretty! I think we have similar coloring--I am going to buy it.
My headset is super sexy.
Im more jealous of your J. Crew Factory flannel!! I want it so bad! PS- you're gorgeous
If anyone needs a basic bootie with a medium heel, I have these in the maplewood and love them. They are so comfortable. I normally don't shop at Lands End for myself, but I swear I get compliments on these from people who are actually fashionable:
Go get this lip balm, it's my absolute favorite. I have it stashed in my desk, purse, night stand, makeup bag...
You should try bebe young care lip balm. It is a German brand like Nivea. It is excellent. You can get it on Amazon. I alternate between that one and the Nivea one you posted.
I'm a Paige Denim Hidden Hills convert. I am not sure I'd pay full price for them, but I love that the rise is high enough I don't have to worry about showing my ass crack, without being so high that I feel like I am wearing mom jeans. The denim is nice and soft, too.
Yes! I've been wearing Paige jeans exclusively since I discovered them in 2006. I've found good deals at 6pm and Amazon.
I've been loving the Skyline Skinny for the last few years but now off to check out Hidden Hills!
I ordered my first pair from 6pm and just ordered a second pair from eBay. I think there were some on sale at Nordstrom recently, too (but that might have been only bootcut).
I've posted about this before, but the Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion is the jam. No need to stand naked in a cold bathroom to apply lotion after your shower!
I'm also completely in love with the Hourglass Ambient Light palette. It seriously makes me glow and really finishes off my basic makeup look.

I'm intrigued by the palette. Do you use them all?
namasteak I do use them all. On a normal work day I usually just sweep a big huge powder brush over all of them and use it like powder after applying everything else (tinted moisturizer, undereye concealer, blush). When I'm actually spending more time on my makeup to go out then I'll use a smaller brush and do a little more specific highlighting. The lighter color in the middle I'll use on my nose/t-zone or to highlight around my eyes, and I'll use the other two as kind of bronzers.

Well that sounds awesome. I would love an all over glow but I haven't found a good non glittery one.

I'm not usually an expensive makeup person, but I tried it at Sephora after reading about it in the CEP makeup thread and really liked it. It's shimmery, but not glittery. I really do feel much more "finished" when I wear it.
Tarte finishing powder- it makes my skin look so smooth but not dry
Tarte under eye cc cream
Bare minerals well rested (under eye brightening/setting powder)
Bobbi brown blush in slopes (perfect natural looking blush)
Bobbi brown metallic eye shadow in champagne Quartz (great neutral with shimmer not glitter)
I just bought the Tarte finishing powder. I can't wait to get it and try it out. I bought a couple of other Tarte products - BB Cream and Concealer - will see how they work.
My skin is the best it's been in years because of these two products:
Like, it's December and I don't even need to use moisturizer. My pores are smaller and my under eye circles are almost gone. Love, love, love. Both are on Amazon Prime for under $15.
As I get older I find my face is starting to look worse for wear, lack of sleep, being pregnant and having a toddler.
I have found these following products to be awesome, not expensive, easy to use.
Konjac sponge - lots of different companies sell them. I would assume a Clarisonic works as well but these are cheap and last a couple of months or so. You can use them when washing your face and taking off makeup. They mildly exfoliate your face and have really helped with the dryness/flakiness I have been suffering.
Eco-tools is the one I purchased and I just purchased another one for when this one quits by Earth Therapeutics.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration
This has been amazing on my dry skin. I bought it as a gift set so I got a couple of other items for pretty much the same price as this cream. It is a good value as you get 6 oz for $30 - that is regular price without discount. It also came with an oatmeal face mask I look forward to using when I have some time.
Mineral Fusion Sheer Moisture Lip Tint
This is a lip tint that goes on really easily and give just the right amount of color, not too much. I love it.
Benefit's Watt's Up Highlighter. I put some on my forehead, down the middle of my nose, cupid's bow, & tops of my cheeks. It makes me look more awake and dewy but not in an oily way, lol.
I use Lush's Herbalism cleanser almost every day and throw in their Dark Angels about every 3 days for a deeper scrub. I love their face products and my skin has never been better.
Do you use powder too? I used to LOVE this but I need powder these days and it doesn't look right. I think I'm doing something wrong.

Tarte is my favorite! I use the poreless primer and amazonian clay foundation most days.
Once I pop this baby out - I have decided - new pajamas and underwear. I can't wait!!!
I think this has something to do w/ it. All of my underwear and pjs are from pre-baby. I wore them threw pregnancy, stretched them all out, and now they look like shit. I kind of want to lose 40lbs before I do anything drastic though.
Don't Konmarie your closet in a hormonal fit. It leaves you with...not a lot.
Brie witch hazel normally clears my skinnup but dries it out, does the aloe help with the drying?
My skin is not dry at all right now. Usually by this time of year I'm slathering on face lotion twice a day. I haven't used any lotion at all this winter.
