Love this idea!!
- lose the last five pounds -- I'm so close, but the weight is stubborn! - fix our home and start the ligation process - go on a family vacation - replenish our e-fund - go on a monthly date with DH - explore potential idea for a business - continue to volunteer and get involved in the community

1. Get YNAB for 2016. Rework our budget to plan for 2 in daycare. 2. Walk/move more. (More than none at all.) 3. Read three books. (This is pathetic. I have a masters in literature. But I stopped reading when DS came along, and if I do read, I never seem to finish the book.) 4. Take purging to a whole new level so I don't lose my mind in this small house with 4 of us. 5. Start saving for DS's college. Have already "found" money for this, just need to open the account.
1. Be consistent about working out/eating healthy 2. Now that we have DD I want to start doing yearly photo books. 3. Get pregnant (mid-late 2016) 4. Take family vacation

This is from another post with some additions. I would love for us to track this in some way in the coming year. Order is not important
A couple of mine would look like the following:
-Save X% of my salary, allocate to the following - need to determine % (I have been spending too much money as of late and we are going to have two in daycare late next year) Retirement - I really want to retire early General Savings College Education for kiddos
- Focus on my health and wellbeing Get back to pre-baby weight in a reasonable/yet take my time timeframe Exercise at least 3 times a week Go outside every day for a 15 minute walk (I work from home) only eat out twice a week Use my damn treadmill desk once a day
- Declutter my home and life Reduce closet items to those that would fit in closet by season ( need to do this when back at a good weight) organize and file papers
- Relationships with friends Plan 2 lunches with girlfriends a month Plan at least one monthly get together
- Have fun and learn with my kid Take my kid on more adventures - places like the zoo/aquarium/museum - once a month at least Take her on weekly walks Keep the computer off during breakfast/dinner
- Personal enrichment Read an interesting book a month Pull out my violin and play it for my daughter - she loves music
-Relationship At least weekly sex post baby and healing Date night/lunch - at least biweekly
1. Support DH in getting new job. 2. Get new job. 3. Move, buy house. 4. After 1-3 accomplished and life settles down, focus on increasing physical activity and having more FUN!
- lose the last few lbs of baby weight, plus another 10 lbs - get back into a gym routine that includes strength training, I signed up for a trial of Orange Theory Fitness once it opens (tentatively Jan/Feb opening) - have more sex. DH would be beyond thrilled to know this is a goal of mine. - support DH however I can, as he has finally made the commitment to lose weight. He needs to lose 80-100 lbs. - be a more engaged wife and mother and put my phone down
More of the same would actually be great. This year, I feel like I've really started hitting my stride and at times flourished with two kids. I plan to read a lot, exercise/run and keep my health in check, and do fun stuff with my kids while we've got the time. More dates with my husband and slightly more ambitious family travel would be nice. I'd like to maintain connections with family and friends and get into a more consistent routine with volunteering. I could see myself getting into Girl Scout leading or coaching something depending on what my kids do. Keep living beneath our means and discussing what we're grateful for each night with the kids. I could probably think about organizing more efficiently, meal planning a little more, or looking more consistently polished. Maybe 2016 will be the year I cut back on sugar.

1. Train for and run in at least two 10ks. Train for a half-marathon, probably to run in January 2017. 2. Lose 10lbs, hopefully as a result of #1. I've developed a lot of bad eating habits in the last few years of pregnancy/nursing, it's time to realize that it's no longer a free-for-all situation. 3. Set up a proper will/trust for the boys and get better life insurance for myself and DH. 4. Read more books, waste less time on my phone.
- Close on our new house and get settled - Pay off both cars (...so close) - Find a babysitter for DS on DD's school mornings so I can work before 9 pm each day - Get pregnant
- sell our old house and stop being landlords - make and stick to a 2 in daycare budget - figure out how to solo parent an infant and a toddler - improve my influence at work - be a better wife - worry less
I am less than 2 years from 40, so I've been focusing on a couple more before 40 goals than yearly. I'd sure like to get them this year though I have a couple specific time goals for races, and want to get a plan for when DD goes to kindergarten. I would like to get back into the workplace instead of babysitting and random freelance.
For 2016, I'd like to do more volunteering and have more involvement at the kids school and with running clubs (mine and the kids).
There's really one goal that rules them all: *Make a decision about trying for #3. If we decide to go for it, get the finances in place as much as possible and tackle the necessary home projects to make our 4th bedroom livable
Besides that: *control spending *wean DS, and after weaning try to lose a bit of weight in anticipation of trying for #3 *remove some dead trees in our yard; paint and recarpet the basement *exercise more grace and patience *have a kick-ass 40th birthday weekend *attend MMM national gtg

Purge the house, get it ready to put on the market. I have a bunch of NIB/NWT stuff waiting to go on eBay and I've been too lazy to photograph and list it.
Get back into racing shape. Run some fast (for me) 5 & 10Ks.
1. Run some distance races at least 2 half marathons- maaaaaaayybeeee a full again. 2. Save and be methodical about our kitchen renovation so we can pay cash 3. Amp up my exercise routine -do more things that challenge me 4. Purge, purge, and purge. Love @littlemoxie idea. I have been trying to do 1 thing in 1 thing out over the last couple weeks. 5. Be more engaged with H during the week
1. Get back into and stick with a workout routine. This should result in much needed weight loss but I would prefer to focus on getting into a healthy workout routine rather than losing x amount of weight.
2. Overhaul our spending. It's not that I am buying stuff we don't need so much but we are spending more than we need to on stuff we need if that makes sense. And cut back on eating out! Find a way to save more.
3. Put the phone down from 330 to 6 every day. I finish work at 330 and H comes home around 6 so this is my time alone with the kids. I want to be more engaged with them during this time.
1. Stop eating everything in site and lose some weight 2. Graduate, pass licensing exam, get a job 3. Help DW get a job somewhere else 4. MOVE THE FUCK OUT 5. Decide whether our family is complete
2016 could be a big year for us. But it could be a big flop too. Managing expectations is rough!
6. Find the time/energy to focus on our relationship more than we have in the past 2 years. 2 years of neglect is not good for a relationship, even if you have twins.
I need to do number 6 too. Especially since we feel like we have turned a corner and are getting into a more normal space. Yes it's busy, but it's not crippling like it felt sometimes that first year/year and a half.

That's the one I'm doing! My parents live down there (the 5k used to go past their house) so its a really easy race logistically for me. I did the 5k last year and was thinking of the 10k this year but they aren't having it so I guess its the half marathon for me!
I kind of figured that is where they lived (not crazy stalker or anything :-) ). I LOOOOOOVE it there. We go all the time. Planning on doing with some girlfriends and making it a weekend event. We will have coordinate as it gets closer and at least do a meet and greet or you are welcome to run with us. We aren't moving too fast :-)
All of your goals are honorable, with solid, standard reasoning to back them up. This one totally made me giggle, though.
LOL, I haven't let myself buy any new clothes post baby, because I new my size would change. So, it's time to shop until I drop. Yay for a clothing trend that's pretty!
Yay for shopping! I'm not sure the color palette thing would have ever crossed my mind, but that's as good a reason as any!
