We've already been to class at the little kids gym and are now home. Planning to head to Target after the kids have lunch and will work on Christmas cards.
Flying home! DH has already taken DS to the walk in clinic at the pedi. Apparently he has his first ear infection. The rest of today will be wrapping presents. I'm excited to see everything that my MIL shipped us from DS's Amazon wish list.
Yeah, she's a mess. And I never engage her, so I have all these things I want to say to her in my head, but they're all hateful, so I don't say them. I'm really trying here. lol

We have a nice relaxing morning at home, but then my husband and I are in a walking tour tonight so that will be busy. The weather is beautiful and I expect that we will have at least 5000 people come through tonight.

M is being shy and cranky about the water park today. I don't get it, yesterday he was all about it and wanted to do everything by himself. We are back in our room and ordered pizza. I hope his mood changes soon because I'm getting grouchy.

We need to clean up a little bit around here, then we will go buy a tree! I'm excited. I bought some sugar cookie dough at the store, does anyone have a good recipe for frosting?

I do the same thing but I am so damn close to cracking.

Our new dressers are being delivered today, and I need to grab kid gifts for brunch tomorrow and pick up Star Wars tickets. Also, town Christmas parade tonight.
We're going to lunch for my SIL's birthday then I'm going to reverse protest thing at the Islamic center in town with my friends' church. They're doing an open house and it will be nice to show support since Kansas isn't always the warmest political environment.
We're having a gingerbread decorating party tomorrow, and I have so much to do. I just assembled the houses, but I still need to make a million cookies and clean so much. Fortunately, I'm keeping the menu super simple so hopefully I'll go a little less crazy.
And random weird story-we bought our van, a 2014 Odyssey, in early July. Yesterday, DH got a call from the dealership saying that they have someone who wants to buy our exact car-a navy 2014 odyssey with gray interior. The guy claims that if we sell it back to them, they will give us a 2016 at the same price. I'm super skeptical about all of this, but DH is taking it there tomorrow anyway for an oil change so we'll see what's up.
I'm going to be a brat. The ILs opened a 529 for DS without running it by us first. I'd much rather they contribute to the 529 that we set up because distributions from grandparents 529s are counted as student income and affect financial aid. I know I should just be grateful.
Our neighbor's across the street are my ILs age (or older). We knew that was probably the case just from the house style, but dang I hope we get some other families as neighbor's. I haven't seen any kids yet. Plus with a HOA DH is all worried they'll be super picky.
Another one with crazy nice weather. We went to the park this morning. Now DS is napping. I can't decide if I use this time to nap too or work on Christmas cards. We just got the digital files this morning, so they're more like Happy New Year cards at this point.
(I haven't even started wrapping J's gifts yet! I totally went overboard this year, to make up for the fact we're stuck in nyc this year for Christmas)
Thanks to a recommendation from spk926 my morning was saved by taking both kids to an indoor park for nearly two hours. If we had stayed home I was going to snap at SS. I love him dearly but he's such a know it all and I just don't have the patience.
Now C is napping and SS is watching a movir, so I cleaned the bathroom and started packing a hospital bag. I'm hoping to get some Christmas wrapping done while I'm home alone later.

There is something up with my kid. Morning was decent enough but he didn't want to eat at lunch again and he was just sad so I put him down for a nap earlier than normal. He only napped for 40 minutes or so and woke up screaming. He was inconsolable for about 30 minutes before I was able to distract him with more Paw Patrol. He's been extra clingy and whiny too.
We're at Tim Hortons now eating donuts and watching the cars come the drive thru. He seems okay for now.
I imagine it's his canines causing all this trouble but who really knows. I gave him Advil awhile ago but it didn't seem to help.
I took ds1 to the library to see Santa and do Christmas crafts. He did really well, though didn't want to see Santa. I left the baby with DH and we had a nice time. I feel like I've barely seen him this week with my mom being here so it was nice to have one on one time with him.
Ds2 drank a little from a bottle while I was gone but not a ton so I didn't pump and now he's stilllll sleeping. I guess I could go punk at least one side now. My boobs feel like they are going to explode, I hate this part ugh.

Depending on the state, you can transfer account ownership among family members with some restrictions. But even if you can't you can take the distribution from the account in the grandparents' name during the student's senior year.
Sold my old iPhone today. Hello $175! Now to decide what to do with it
I discovered that DD poked about 100 holes in her wall today (using her the screw portion of her doorstop). I am so upset with her. She is almost 4. Shouldn't she know better?!

Just getting home from a birthday party. The food was really an odd situation...they said on the invites "food and sweets provided." Food was a box of fries and two pizzas for 30 people. Sweets was a cake, which was really delicious. No drinks but a 2L of Coke.
DD2 already had a basketball game, DD1 & 2 have a volleyball showcase in a couple hours where they basically get scouted for league teams & then we have DHs office party. Every weekend is packed--this is why I struggle so much at the holidays.

So they just had your kids SSN?
Transfer of ownership is possible if they are willing.
