1. I am an identical twin (just found out that we are indeed identical last year at Christmas when I bought the dna test for both of us!). We were told our entire lives that we were fraternal and my sister used it as an excuse for her bad teeth and being over weight saying that I got the "good genes".
2. I have a bachelors degree in agriculture studies... pursued my MBA after and work for a University running their non-profit groups... just slightly off track
3. I am a girlie-girl when it comes to clothes/makeup/etc for professional wear, on the weekends you will find me in jeans/hoodies riding my dirt bike/horse/quad/playing with my kid.
1. I had webbed feet. I had surgery when I was 16, but they're still a bit webbed. I hated it because I couldn't wear flip flops until I had the surgery. I'm still embarrassed by it and hate feet.
2. I had psoriasis so bad as a kid, I had to spend summers laying on a blanket in the backyard in the sun.
3. I had to have my adenoids out twice. Apparently they can grow back.
Bonus, non medical: 4. I was named after an ex-girlfriend of my Dad's.
1. I can touch my tongue to my nose 2. If I use a public restroom often (like at work), I prefer to use the same stall every time 3. I am obsessed with symmetry, but prefer not to match the earrings in my second set of ear holes.
I walk and talk in my sleep I once got my tongue pierced in college on a dare My childhood pedi thought I had a natural immunity to the chicken pox
I love tongue piercings! How long did you keep yours in? I had one in high school (had to take it out when my coach noticed - we were fundie-lite and not even supposed to have ears pierced or wear nail polish or makeup) and then again in college.
Just a few months. I hated how often food got caught around the piercing.
All three of my kids do this and have since very very young, can be entertaining!!
Eek. Have they ever gotten outside? I still sleep walk on occasion but it was much more frequent when I was a kid. I think it's how my anxiety works itself out when I'm asleep. There were a few times when I woke up outside, completely disoriented. One time it was in the woods at sleepaway camp. That was scary.
1) I was bitten by a dolphin as a kid 2) Jesse Jackson Jr did his homework in my playroom 3) I made my mother drain me a bowl of chicken noodle soup for lunch everyday when I was 5. I would just eat the " stuff" aka noodles and chicken and not the soup.
1) I was homeschooled for 9 years starting in 2nd grade until I went to college. As a result, I do not have a high school diploma or a GED - I learned that you can't actually get your GED before the age when you would have graduated, you can't take it early (I was 16). 2) My big toenails kind of point up a little, so my socks and even my running shoes get holes in the toes all the time. 3) I stopped racing on my bicycle because I couldn't get over my fear of crashing after a significant crash that wasn't my fault. I was very lucky that I didn't break any bones in my several years of bike racing and only have 2 scars from crashes.
