I was just looking in the boys section (online) at Carters for something for DD. Glad I'm not the only one!
She's got a few boy clothes, some of their stuff is SO cute!
've been shopping recently for leggings for J in the girls section. For some reason you can't find them for boys unless you pay $$$$ at a boutique and they are so cute on little boys (IMO).
I woke up this morning to news that all LA schools are closed due to a bomb threat. It just hit me, and gave me that jittery sick feeling, that in a couple years J could be one of those kids affected and I am really sad thinking about someone deliberately trying to hurt him. I'm sad for the other kids too.
I am staring at my phone waiting for my call about my new baby nephew. RING, PHONE!!!!
I just want to say thank you for not calling every twenty minutes and asking, "Is the baby here yet?", like some people I know...
Ha! I do know better than this! But she's have a c-section so they probably don't even have their phones with them. And my BIL is a technology Luddite despite beingg employed as a brilliant engineer.
Me either, and I'm thrilled I haven't received mine yet because it makes me feel better for not having sent mine (I'm waiting on a few things to be delivered).
I read part of that Christmas card thread on ML and am surprised at how many people are saying they "love stationary!" It annoys me on the level of people who don't know the difference between your and you're. Random indeed.
Everywhere over my newsfeed is a story about increased risk of autism for people who took ADs during pregnancy and now I'm FREAKING OUT about it and googling early warning signs. I am hoping DS1's lack of interest in his brother is not a symptom. Gah.
(This is probably a sign that I need different/more meds).

Amazon says the gift to my secret Santa was delivered. I'm stalking the reveal thread to see if she got it. I also just realized today, that I could have sent tracking info to her.

H sent me this article yesterday and I was like, "thanks, dude, it's a little late now". So I'm ignoring it and reminding myself that I did a ton of research and spoke with my OB and pedi before going back on my meds and it'll be fine. Ugh.
Kid is asleep on my lap, so I don't want to move. But I have guests coming in an hour and a half and I am not dressed and my house is a disaster. If I stay seated, nothing will get done. If I get up, she will wake up and nothing will get done.
Do you have a ring sling? It was great when DD was your baby's age (and still is great now).
Quick question about amazon - if the item I received is damaged, do they pay the return shipping or do I?
FWIW, the book jacket was ripped. I got the book signed yesterday, so I don't want to just send it back. I'd like to order another, swap out the dust jacket, and send the ripped one back.

I have a tube sling, but I haven't figured out how to use it.
