On Christmas Day we are having a casserole in the morning and a turkey breast for dinner. Lots of appetizers first. Rosemary potatoes and corn with bacon and maybe the Smitten Kitchen cranberry pie.
Christmas Eve (my mom's hosting): beef tenderloin and idk what else, but it'll be good, she's a great cook.
Christmas breakfast: bacon, broccoli and cheese egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, fruit salad. I might do some potatoes, too.
Christmas dinner: veggies and dip and baked fontina for apps. Chicken parm, baked ziti and roasted brussel sprouts for dinner. Not sure about dessert yet
I use this skinny taste recipe, but use packed brown sugar (so there's more ). You can use egg whites instead of the beaters too. It's one of the only French toast recipes I've made that everyone devours.
Christmas Eve: Fajitas, Tamales, Rice, Beans, Guacamole, Queso, Chips, Tres Leches Cake, and Cranberry Margaritas
Christmas Morning: some sort of egg casserole, croissants, kolaches, mimosas
Christmas Day: Smoked Turkey, dressing, Ham, Pineapple Casserole, fruit salad, broccoli casserole (though I might campaign for roasted broccoli, too many casseroles!), and pumpkin pie
Christmas Eve - Polish food (MIL hosts) Beet soup with mushroom filled pasta Baked shrimp scampi (I bring) Breaded fish Potato and sauerkraut perogis Rye bread & butter Polish Cookies (kruschiki, rogaliki)
Christmas morning Eggs, bacon, toast, orange juice
Christmas Dinner - Italian food (I host) Assorted meats (prosciutto, capicola, soppressata), cheeses, olives Raviolis Lasagna Braciole, meatballs, sausage Garlic bread Salad Italian cookies
I would love to have French toast or some kind of casserole for Xmas morning but we can't eat eggs. namasteak or page have you found any good substitutes?

Christmas Eve: cheese tortellini (from Costco) with veggie marinara after mass. I'll make the marinara from scratch either in the crock pot or leave it on low
Christmas morning: blueberry croissant casserole, bacon, sausage and fruit
Christmas dinner pot luck: PW whiskey glazed carrots, made ahead and heated up

I haven't for those two things but I LOOOOOOVE the Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls and I may make those for Christmas this year. I think jenny1980 introduced me to it and it's really so good.

Christmas Eve- we do the obligatory S. Texas meal- tamales, chili, guac and queso and other tex-mex sides. Margaritas, of course. Christmas morning- sausage/egg/spinach casserole, rattlesnake bites, cranberry-nut bars, fruit, bloody mary's and mimosas. Christmas dinner- This year we're having lamb, with typical sides. And manhattans as it was my grandpa's annual Christmas drink.
Christmas Eve: ordering Chinese take-out (our long-standing family tradition)
Christmas Day: For breakfast, I'm thinking of attempting homemade cinnamon rolls that you assemble the night before. For dinner I'm making the turkey that DH got from work, with all the trimmings. As I took it out of the freezer this morning to put into the fridge to thaw, I realized that I will be making a 16 lb. turkey for three people. And one of those people is a not-quite-three-year-old. Lol - leftovers, anyone?
ETA: oh yeah, I'm also going to make a Jello poke cake with red and green Jello for dessert!
We aren't hosting on either of those days. My MIL, SFIL, BIL, SIL and their kids are coming on Saturday. We're doing ham, corn bread (or maybe regular bread?), some steamed veggies and tiramisu. I am keeping it simple.
