I've been up for awhile. H and I are playing video games and I'll probably go to my gym later and spectate a weight lifting meet with my little one. I had a trail run planned but SIL bailed yesterday because she's sick. I think I'll make today a rest day.
Holy crap it's cold out! Thankfully we are not getting hit with the big east coast storm ( I'm in NH, too far North) but it's frickn freezing out nonetheless. 7 miles done outside this morning now I'm trying to warm up with some tea and housework!
It wasn't that cold for me, but getting warm again was still a challenge. I was in flannel pants, a sweatshirt, and a big blanket on the couch WITH coffee before I could get going again.

I am chugging hot tea, took a super hot shower and am wearing about 3 layers of clothing. Still cold. I might never feel my toes again.
I decided I need to AW to people who will appreciate this: The workout was 5 min strength then 1/4 mile running x 4 and I managed to run the first 2 1/4 miles! I know that's not a lot to most of you but I didn't think I could do more than a minute. So maybe me "run a 5k by May" goal is feasible
I shoveled enough room for my dog to go potty. I'm over shoveling. Also, it was a bad idea to focus on arms in powersculpt Thursday night. My arms are so sore lol. Whine.
I got up and did 15 at a slower pace. Not on purpose, but because I didn't feel amazing and gazelle-like today. I'm now sat on the sofa revising my training plan and looking at apartments in Paris for the Marathon.
I was supposed to do 8 today. Life happened and I was awake all night, which then made me sleep all day. I will do some strength training here tonight and do my 8 tomorrow. Flip flopped my training days. Crossing everything I can that I sleep tonight and can get through the 8 miles tomorrow before the Pats game.
