Before I had M, I had to have surgery to remove a fibroid the size of a ping pong ball from my uterus. It was acting as, in my H's words, a "hockey goalie" and I had five very early miscarriages before I had it removed. Looks like it grew back. I had a BFP last week... and my period started last night.
So should I bother with the testing again if the same thing happens next month, or just go straight to the doctor I used last time and say "take it out." Also I'm angry because I saved up all my annual leave from the past like three years, and I'll have literally FOUR WEEKS of use or lose leave that I'll have to use before the end of the year if I can't conceive in the next two months. So then I'll be short of the time off I wanted to take if I do manage to have a baby next year.
Ugh, so sorry. That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially the leave. I would probably go back to the doctor to confirm that's what it is/get going on fixing it. I hope it turns out not to be a fibroid and this loss was a fluke.
I am so sorry you are going through this. I would absolutely go back to the doctor sooner than later.
Also, I totally hear you on the leave issue. If you don't get a take home baby this year, I am sure we can at least help you brainstorm ways to use it up
I'm sorry for your losses. I would go to the doctor and have them check to see if that's what it is, and if it is then have them take it out. I have polyps that continue to grow back but they have to check and make sure that's what it is before removing them.
I agree with King26, talk to the doctor and see what it is and if it's a fibroid then have it removed.
I have some questions for you, feel free to ignore me if you want. Have you seen a specialist for your losses? (I don't know if they have one where you live but here they have a loss clinic who does more testing/problem solving with multiple losses.) The doctor thinks that all your losses were caused by the fibroid?
And if you ever need anyone to talk to please let me know. ((Hugs))

I have in the past. H and I tried for like 6 months a few years ago, and my OB referred me to a specialist because of the constant miscarriages. That's when I found out about the fibroid, and had it removed. After we were given the green light to try again, I immediately became pregnant with M, my almost three year old. We're going to try again next month, and if it happens again, I'm going straight to the specialist, because she did warn me that it might grow back after I got pregnant. At least we only want two?
