Favorite fabric designers? Fabric styles of fabric?
I like most modern designs. Teals and blues are my favorite colors. I like Alison Glass, Carolyn Freidlander, Heather Ross, Cotton + Steel, and the new Karen Lewis. I like geometric designs but dislike chevrons, standard batiks, reproduction, Tula Pink and novelty.
White and low volume are fun. I also like grays. All solids is also fun. A paper pieced pattern pattern would also be cool.
I don't drink coffee or tea, so this will likely go in the wall.

Whoops I meant to reply for my own right away and then my son fell and I forgot.
I love modern florals and geometrics, lots of smaller prints, I also love whimsical fabrics. I don't really have a favorite designer but I think it's because I'm so new to quilting. I love lots of brights and lots of white space.
I'm 100% positive I'll love anything that comes my way- I really am drawn to the handmade nature of crafts and the work that go into them! But, I appreciate working with clues, so of course I'll answer the questions!
Heather Ross is a favorite, for sure- love modern designers and hand drawn looks, so I ditto (ditto the ditto?) everything above.
But, I love polka dots, stripes, and simple patterns, too! Blue is my favorite color, but, I am addicted to seeing all the colors together in a rainbow, my only "please no" for fabrics is muted tones. And I really don't want my mug rug maker to go out and fabric shop (unless you want an excuse )- I love scrappy.
I don't drink coffee or tea (very rarely cocoa), I usually use mine as pretty coasters, to keep my cold drinks from leaving puddles- ha.
I love a lot of the fun (maybe cheesish) pieced and appliqued ones I've seen- strings of pennants, hot air balloons, a scene at the beach, little cottages, flowers- happy things. And again, iloverainbo.ws, so definitely won't go wrong with rainbow themed.
