Tyler's mom is awesome. She keeps it real ALL THE TIME. She's honestly the most stable grandparent on this show. Tyler needs to make a plan. Seriously. Teen Mom isn't going to pay your bills forever. And why does everyone from this show think they can be authors?
I love how Macy just casually slides in welllll its going to be a paaaain to take the baby to this weddingggg... and Ryan's mom is just like YES I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE.
WTF GARY?! You know he told her about Matt's kids on the show just to humiliate her. Matt's a creep. But Gary's an ASSHOLE. THAT SMIRK OMG. AND THEN MATT LAUGHS ABOUT THE PAPERS OMG. like he has no clue about how many kids he actually has.
The only person who has a more annoying voice than Farrah is Sophia. I feel terrible being mean about a child, but holy crap listening to that kid is like nails on a chalkboard.
From what I'm reading online, YES! And like 5 of them are suing him, I think, because he's a deadbeat. I feel for her, because she fell for it all. He sought her out because she has MTV money and low self esteem, and it worked. What a creep.
The whole thing with the 7 kids is strange, mostly with how they both reacted to it. On the after show she was like "well he could have some that he didn't know about....". How is that possible to have 5 kids that you don't know about?!?!
The previews that they played on the after show look like there is a ton of drama with Farrah coming. I'm hoping that it means she won't be on the show anymore.
I feel really bad for Cate. She is clearly struggling and Tyler really needs to step up and she needs to speak up.
Yes!!!
What is Tyler doing doing while Cate is watching Nova? Does he have a job? I also think 2-3 times a week of spending the night at grandma's is a little much. I get during the day if you have a job and you need childcare....but over night?
I love that Tyler's mom was all "get off your ass" with him! Really, Cate & Tyler are my favorites on the show but I was really side eyeing that amount of time Nova is away. Too much. Does Cate work?
The whole Farrah thing, over it. I feel like I post this after every episode but I can't believe how she acts! And the whiny baby voice they all use grates like no other!
I really really hate Farrah. I really wish MTV would stop indulging her. //
Apparently they did? I'm not so sure, though. On the Aftershow, they show Larry (the producer) telling her off and she tells Teen Mom to fuck off. But then they let her do a Q&A on her website last night.

Omg yes. And Farrah baby talking to her. Baby talk is never acceptable, but especially not to a six year old!
Yes!
Does anyone also pick up on the strange way that Farrah interacts with Sophia. It's hard to describe, but there is an almost awkward nervousness in her voice when she talks to her.
For example, Sophia will say something sassy and Farrah will respond in her baby voice with something along the lines of, "Okay baby....let's not do xy and z"

I feel like she is acting, trying to look like a good mom or something.
I'll start with Farrah so I can get her stank ass out of the way. Her back and forth over who could watch her precious little Sophia (read child from hell) was so Farrah. I'm surprised Debra didn't grab a knife from the kitchen and try and stab her with it. Oh wait, she already did that...
On a shallow note and I can't believe I'm saying this, Farrah looked actually pretty without her usual 10 lbs of makeup.
Caitlyn - I think it's more than post partum with her. I think this goes back to her placing Carly for adoption in the first place. Tyler has made his peace with it, but I don't think Cait ever has and I still cannot stand Dawn the adoption "counselor" (read baby broker) who is totally shady. I also think it has a lot to do with the fact that when the cameras are off, Tyler's hands-on Daddy evaporates. Amazing wedding vows are not, he's still the asshole who treated an innocent dog like crap and I've never felt the same about him since. Although I question Cait's leaving Nova with April. I mean, surely there are more suitable babysitters?
I wanted to high-five Tyler's mom for calling him out on being lazy and just wanting to ride the Teen Mom gravy train. I mean, how long can this show goes on? Until one (or more) of the Teen Mom kids are Teen Moms/Dads themselves?
Maci - I like Ryawn a million times more when he is actually awake and I was laughing my ass off when he snarked on Maci passive aggressively getting his mom to watch Jayde. And could Maci BE anymore obvious that she is still in love with Ryan when he was holding Jayde. The hearts were jumping out of her eyes like a cartoon.
Amber....as if we didn't see this trainwreck coming from a mile away. What did she expect from some guy twice her age that she met on Twitter???
As for Gary outing him...
Matt is as phony as Amber's eyelashes, attempting to call Gary out when he's the one with 8 (or is it 9 now?) kids that he never bothered to mention to the supposed love of his life.

I don't think she works. I assumed until this week that Tyler was in school because they talked about that last season, and that was why she was overwhelmed. But if they're both home, he definitely needs to step it up. I'm glad that his mom is telling him he needs to get it together, but she's done that before and they are still in the same place. So I get this feeling it still won't happen.

@beachgal what did Tyler do to the dog? I do think Caitlyn is depressed.
This was from a few seasons ago, but Tyler's dog had an accident on a rug and Tyler, who was already pissed off for who knows what now, started screaming and cursing at the dog, rubbing his face in the poop, smacking him on the behind and throwing him outside.
ETA - To make matters worse, Nick was there, watching, in tears, the whole time.

At one point they were both in school I thought, Tyler was studying Social Work I think and didn't Cate want to be a counselor to help others working through adoption?

I agree 2 overnights seem like a lot, but knowing what I know about PPD, it makes complete sense. I struggled when my first was born and desperately wanted anyone but me to be the caretaker

Yes, that makes sense! It's a weird nervousness that I pick up from her like she's trying too hard to look good. She almost looks uncomfortable and on the spot. I don't know, maybe I'm reading into her too much.

YES! Sooooo unnatural I totally agree with those talking about what a brat poor little Sophia has become, because really- what could you expect? I just remember the super adorable sweet little baby- there was So Much Potential! (There still is, I know, I know)
