My BFF dated a guy who bought a breaded chicken sandwich from some McDonald's, ate half of it, left it on his kitchen counter, went to Japan for a week, came back, and ATE THE REST. He did not get sick. This is in SF so no freezing temperatures. This was one of the reasons she dumped him lol.

lauranicole91 the dust! I'm wheezing thinking about it. I vacuumed my very small house last night and the canister of my Dyson (which was emptied beforehand) is now to the max line.
Related PSA: I have the worst time getting the hair off my stairs. Last night I googled it because I couldn't take it anymore and ended up using one of Jack's old Skidders baby shoes. Rubbing the rubber sole back and forth pulls all the hair up. My stairs are always vacuumed, but now they look like it. SUCCESS.
My confession is that Juliet's favorite songs are Hotline Bling and the Remix to Ignition. I sing her Tomorrow from Annie every night before bed, but Hotline Bling and Remix to Ignition make her laugh.
You guys would hate my house. We (H) vacuum the stairs maybe once every six months. And we have 2 cats. They're gross. I am the worlds worst house keeper.
charmediamsure we have the pet hair remover attachment for our vacuum and it works amazingly! I wonder if Dyson has one too.
It has a stairs attachment, but the problem is that the spinner brush thing gets hairs stuck in it. The happens to the regular head on the vacuum too, but it's harder to remove. So my new plan is to use the skidder's rubber sole to pull up all the hair (I got a large handful last night!) and then vacuum as per normal. It will keep the hair from gumming up the bristles. I'm all about the extra step if it will be clean.

WHAT THE FUCK
I just spit coffee everywhere. I just imagined you yelling this and it made me whole day.
My confession is that I'm supposed to be on pelvic rest and not do anything at all with the lady bits but I totally cheated last night... on myself. Whut? Yeah. Oops. Sorry, TMI!
Girl they put you on pelvic rest for a reason.
yeah... true. but it was totally a "ehhh... you should probably be on pelvic rest until we know further" sort of thing... so i feel like until i am actually diagnosed w/ something, cheating once is not gonna kill anyone.

I want to go home and clean after this. Gross.
When I was super sick first tri I couldn't keep up with my vacuuming habits ( at least once a week). H totally slacked. Two weeks ago I finally vaccuumed. It was so gross.
My confession is that I record and watch General Hospital everyday. H makes so much fun of me for it, but I don't care.
I don't eat Mexican food but I have a Mexican food question. Are the menu items at Taco Bell real Mexican foods? Like there is an actual authentic gordita? I guess I've assumed they are made up names like "mcrib".

I watch gh, too! I'm a few episodes behind, though. Little Jake is the worst actor.
This thread inspired me to baking soda and vinegar my stairs.
Can you explain this further?
I really do have to clean our carpets. Wicket flipped a plate the other day and got ketchup everywhere.
In between shampooing, I put a layer of baking soda on however many stairs need it and spray it with vinegar. Let it sit for a couple hours (or until it's dry at least) and then you vacuum it up. It leaves the carpet smelling really fresh and it gets out surface and set it stains.
You would obviously need to clean the ketchup stain before doing it but it will help get out whatever is left behind!

That kid gives me the creeps. I can't wait until we find out why he is so creepy now.

Yes..i am intrigued. The stairs to the basement have this traffic pattern/shadow/dirt thing that I can not get rid of. My MIL who knows how to clean everything wasn't able to get it to come out.

ETA: I saw your response.
Do a really thick layer on the worst areas. I had stains just like that on my bottom stairs and they looked like new after the first time I did it!

In high school we made a Taco Bell run before soccer practice and brought our coach a few tacos. A week later he found one still in his bag and one of my team mates ate it.

This is where I confess that I am a vacuum freak. I vacuum twice a day, and I have to physically stop myself from doing more than that. I know that's also equally weird, lol. I also do it in straight lines, so I hate when Matt does it because it makes me twitch.
We haven't shampooed our carpet since we moved here almost 3 years ago :/ We do spot clean but that's it. We are buying a shampoo thing later this month so I will have no excuse anymore!
