With my tax return $$$ arriving shortly, I'm finally going to take the plunge and replace the chair I hate in my living room, but I can't decide which one to get.
Here are my top 2 favorites. I've sat in both, finding them to be equally comfortable and there's only about a $20 price difference.
Fuchsia- Velvet, World Market Yellow- Linen, IKEA
I already own the teal velvet sofa pictured below. Also included some random snapshots of my living room (the bright blue bucket chair is the one being replaced, floral chair is staying)
possibly worth mentioning is that the interior doors in my house are the same shade of yellow as that chair. I also have lighter yellow metal dining room chairs.
You have a lot of color going on and I feel that the yellow kind of tones it down, if that makes sense. But your TV stand is yellow too- will they work together or clash?
The pink pops a lot more and is yet another color. But the flower chair kind of brings all the colors together.

So - I have no answer. I like them both.
I'm concerned about all the yellows I have possibly clashing or being too much. However (it's hard to tell from the picture) the back of the yellow chair is much taller, which I like since the rest of my furniture is pretty low profile and it would go in the corner of the tallest wall in the house.
I like the fact that the fuchsia chair is also velvet and tufted all over, like the sofa. Also it's another fun color.
My sister makes fun of me that every piece of furniture I buy is a statement piece.
I also was going to ask if you could fit both. But if not, I pick fuchsia because you already have a yellow tv stand and lighter yellow dining chairs. But I would add some yellow throw pillows for accent.
I was going to say yellow until I saw your room. I think fuchsia would be best because the floral chair will pull all the colors together (yellow from tv stand, teal from couch, and fuchsia from the chair).

Get the yellow chair and paint the TV stand fuchsia?

Lol after refinishing my dining room table and a cedar chest last summer I am decidedly over painting furniture.
Fuchsia, especially since it'll share a wall with the yellow TV stand. You've got lots of color in there already...why stop now? I love your bright and cheery space!

I agree with this. You've already committed to having multiple bright colors; at this point it's like go big or go home!
I love that you are doing this exactly the way you want :-)
When you are in the room, is it usually lit by natural light or is it in the evenings with lamps? If you are usually in there during daylight, I say yellow. Evenings, I say fuschia. Yellow will bring attention to all the daylight (or lack thereof) and fuschia will be more cozy evening comfort.
