You take that back. The shortbread cookies are a gift from God. FROM GOD.
Disclaimer- drink.
I learned a couple years ago that I don't like Thin Mints anymore and I still have a box of Tagalongs from last year in the freezer. I just can't get behind them. Trefoils, though, i agree. Gift from God. I ordered 4 boxes this year + 2 boxes of Rah-Rah Raisin. I wish they still had Dulce De Leche here.
I really don't want to agree with you, but I think I do.
Would I think that they were good if they were $1-2 a box? Yes! But somewhere along the line, the calories + cost started to outweigh the taste for me.
I'll still buy them if a girl comes to my door, but only to support her, not because I'm dying to have the cookies in my house. (I will still eat them & enjoy them, though!)
Thin Mints used to be my favorite. Especially froze . I can live without them now.
I can deal with the keebler version of samoas.
But I have never found a reasonable substitute for tagalongs. I plan on buying at least 5-6 boxes even though I'm on a diet. My plan is to make them last all year but I know that is some bullshit.

I remember when I was a kid they had these daisies that were cinnamon (or something) with frosting. I fucking loved those, but I haven't been able to find them in over a decade
