Per usual Leo wakes up a hour early on Saturday mornings.
I am heading to the gym soon. H is taking his BIL to the airport that is 2 hours away. So he will be gone a good portion of the day. So I am going to milk my alone time. Run, kettlebells, sauna, smoothie etc. Sadly that will all be done before 9 am.
I think I am going to take the kids to the children's museum. I normally don't do this kind of stuff on my own so I am already patting myself on the back.
I'm jealous of your alone time plans. I can only afford to belong to one gym and I love kickboxing too much to give it up, but it's not really a GYM so much as it's a garage with training equipment in it. So...not warm, no treadmills or sauna or anything.
I'm just hanging out with my coffee while BF watches soccer. We've got a morning fire going, it's cozy.

My gym is where all the college kids go....so less luxurious than it sounds.
I would pay a lot of money for a nice gym. Like one with great childcare and crap. We have no options in my city which is annoying. Alas I just workout with the college freshman. Thankfully they won't be awake at 7:30 am.
My new job started this week, and I've had horrible anxiety and trouble sleeping mostly because everything is so new and different from my last job. 80% of the week has gone really well, and I think I've landed some great coworkers and supervisors, but my brain just doesn't want to listen. Ugh. If this continues I think I need to see my doctor about anti-anxiety medication because reality and my subconscious perception of it are not aligning correctly.
We are headed to town today to checkout countertops. Due to the snow storm that dropped 18.5 inches, I have not been outside since last Sunday. I'm not sure if I'm more excited to just get out or to pick out counters.
DH gave me a Fitbit for my birthday a few weeks ago and He tried it out for about a week. It stopped working and we exchanged it for another one. I tried last night only to have the app tell me it doesn't support sleep tracking even though the model we bought does and the original one (same one) we had did. WTh. It's probably user error, but I'm kind of over it by this point and might just return it.
We are heading to a one year old's birthday party this afternoon and then swinging by our friend's new house she just closed on yesterday. They're having a "painting party" so the house will be completely empty except for trays of paint and brushes. I told her I'd bring my two small children for about 2.5 minutes and then leave before they put any handprints on the floors/walls. Hopefully.
I'm actually feeling refreshed and ready to roll today, which is odd since I got a little less than 6 hours of sleep. Maybe it's because I got laid last night?

I have a million and one things to do today. H is working so I will be attempting to do all of this with a 1 year old. We are going to my nephew's birthday party this afternoon... 2 hours away. So everything needs to be done by like. 1 pm. I already need a drink.

I'm doing a friendship relay this morning. I run a mile loop, my partner runs, then we run a final loop together. It's supposed to be a lot of fun but I'm still battling this cold :/
My sister got engaged last weekend and she's been texting me this morning about colors and bridesmaids dresses. I'm so excited for her!
My parents are in the middle of a messy divorce. They both agree that they will help pay for the wedding (they paid for mine and have said they would do it for all their daughters) but are fighting over who will pay what. I feel bad for my sister she doesn't know what she can really afford since the budget is up in the air. And it's going to be in June so she needs to start booking things soon.
Going to meet with a colourist for a consult on my hair today, I am super excited! I have only had my hair coloured one other time and it was not pretty so fingers crossed this goes well, otherwise I will go back to never colouring my hair lol.
H is headed to work today, but he had the day off yesterday and did so much packing. I am impressed.

My H and ds are going on an "adventure" (as my son calls it) to the grocery store this morning, I am going to finish my first breakfast and go back to sleep and when they are on the way home my H is going to bring me a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. .
It was so fun to tell our families that we are expecting a girl. My twin sister cried, my MIL couldn't stop giggling, and my bff kept whooping and cheering. I guess everyone wanted a girl.
I don't think it's ever going to snow here this winter. All the east coast storms keep missing us.
Monster movie marathon today. They're all in Japanese with English subtitles. No one in this house speaks Japanese. DS1 is reading the subtitles and calling out his sight words. Totally counts as practice.
DH is taking the kids to HD this morning to make me a Vday gift. Then around 1 I'm taking them to my mom until the am! My BFF and I decided to plan a double date night of a comedy show and dueling pianos, but then after he went over it with his wife, he texted me and said "let's just plan on dinner". I'm kind of shocked because she and I aren't fans of each other, so we planned a perfect night of hanging out without having to really talk. Oh well, we'll go to dinner and DH and I will go out after. At least they picked a restaurant on a street with 20+ other bars and restaurants to go to.
I made noatmeal for breakfast. I'm actually pretty excited about it. I'm still doing great on my low carb diet, but I can only eat so many eggs for breakfast before I'm totally sick of them, lol.
Speaking of eggs, I bought 36 eggs yesterday, then mil dropped by with a dozen eggs from her chickens.
There's a parade later and I'm going to take the kids, then fil wants us to come for dinner because he caught a bunch of fish yesterday.

Busy, busy day and we lost power yesterday and stayed at my parents' so we are all out of sorts.
Dance class now, then Ella going back to my parents' because gym canceled babysitting, then I'm going to Zumba, picking up birthday cake if I have time, getting Ella, finish party favors, go to jumping place for Ella's party with 24 of her closest friends.
Hopefully a nap in there so she isn't a beast. DH is working a split shift, so he will just be there for the party then back to work. Then I will deal with the sugar and present high!
Tomorrow is combo Super Bowl/Family birthday party ice cream bar. Yay!

I put music videos with lyrics up in my classroom on the SMARTboard. Totally fluency practice. Justin Bieber is a reading coach!
We have DS joint birthday party today with his BFF. He is so excited. The party is at his Taekwondo studio and they take care of everything including the pizza and cake. We just have to show up. I'm bringing light snacks for the adults. Afterwards we are having a flag football game in the cul de sac followed by a Neighborhood BBQ. It's going to be 79 here today and my neighbor is heating her pool. It's going to be an awesome day. Oh and we got DS a new bike. It is currently sitting in the living room waiting for him to get up.
I'm excited to start a new yoga class this morning. However, I learned this morning, to not wait until the day of to see if your yoga pants still fit. Luckily, I remembered one pair that were a little big when I bought them last year. They fit perfectly now, lol.
I'm going to start taking melatonin before bed again. It's been years since I've had to do that.
I woke up 2-3 times last night. I think it's because my bedroom faces the street, and even though it's not a busy street, I think I hear the street noises in my sleep and it wakes me up.

I'm knitting my second queen size blanket, one for each kid. I'm putting the top border on today, and I'm literally weighing with a scale to see if I have enough yarn for the bottom border to. It's going to be verrrrrry close. Gah. It's going to look stupid if three sides have one border and the bottom has a different one.
My furnace is acting very weird today. I woke up to no heat, but when I fiddled with the thermostat (it was set to 68 but the house was 63) it turned on, then turned off when it went up one degree. Then I fiddled again and now it's fine. I wonder what's in store for tomorrow morning.
Oh and thanks to cleo29's shingles outbreak (thank you, cleo, even though I feel bad about your discomfort), I made an appointment to go in for a shingles shot. My sister, who is 10 years younger than I, had an episode back in November, and now with cleo, I decided to get off my duff and take preventative measures.
