No way! I went to private school right outside the city, but most of my friends from grade school went to CD. I hung out with a lot of FJ guys since I rode to school with girls from that part of the NE.
ARHS here. I grew up in Pennypack. FJ / St. H's were our big rivals. I have 4 years before I have to deal with this, but it will KILL me if my oldest winds up in baby blue b/c I still can't let go of the dislike caused by the rivalry.

That's so funny! The rivalries were real. I remember going to Friday night games at Northeast. Freshman year of college I had a friend across the hall who graduated from AR in '96.

I have one bankers box full of grade school through college stuff. A smattering of homework, projects, and post cards. And some floppy disks with term papers. I have my freshman and senior yearbooks only. I lost two along the way. I also have my french club t shirt that is threadbare and only for housework. It's the perfect amount for me to look at with nostalgia every couple years and put away again.

And I just realize I can't math. Somehow I've been out of HS 20 years THIS year (well, as of June something or other). Dear God I feel old now. '96 had 600 something kids in the class, I can probably name 100 of them and would recognize even less these days. I never went to any games, not a big sports fan. To this day I'm a die hard supporter of the teams and I was pissed when Washington beat us in the Turkey Bowl, but I never attended a game until I was out of high school and dating a Washington grad who dragged me to the game. I almost got my ass beat b/c I insisted on sitting on the Washington side in my Ryan jacket. One of my former teachers took pity on me and pulled me onto the roof of the box thing where they were filming the game.
I graduated from HS almost 30 years ago and have moved so many times, including overseas. My parents wouldn't keep anything and I wouldn't tote anything overseas. So, no. I don't. I don't like keeping stuff in general. I don't need stuff for memories.
I don't think I have any thing from high school, but I still have my middle school PE dress out shirt. It's the most comfortable thing I own and it's in decent shape somehow. I will seriously be sad when it falls apart.
I don't even care that it's from middle school almost 20!years ago, like I have no emotional connection to it from that, it's just so soft and the fact that it still fits is a serious miracle.
Yes. Somehow we keep dragging it all with us. Letter jacket, yearbooks, drill team bag, class ring, drill team sweatshirt, mums and a medium size box with picture frames/misc school crap. I need to purge most of this.
I have my yearbooks, class ring and letter jacket. I also have my mom's class ring and my grandmother' class ring. I should probably sell the rings, no one else in the family is interested in them. I'll probably pitch the yearbooks in a year or two, possibly sooner if we downsize.
I think I may still have my varsity letter (that I got for, drumroll please, French club). I have an award I won at a film festival (which is a gold spray painted vhs. Lol), a program from a play I was i . And a small collection of notes passed between classes. Those are my favorites.
Letter jacket, class ring, a few drill team pieces, drill team scrapbooks, yearbooks, and my senior scrapbook. There may be a few other things hiding in a box or 2 somewhere.
So funny that this came up today. This afternoon, I saw a girl I went to high school with in the deli and I could not remember her name. I actually pulled out my yearbook today to look at her name because it was driving me crazy. So I have my yearbook. I'm pretty sure my class ring is at my Mom's house. There may be other stuff at Mom's house too...I think I kept a little box with my prom pic, corsage and invitation. God, I have to go through all that shit at her house here soon because I'm moving far and she's going to sell the house in the near future.
I have a box of stuff. Yearbooks, friend notebooks, regular notes (how the hell did we get them into all those damn shapes??), my prom corsage, few awards, etc. The normal stuff.
I have my letter jacket, marching band windbreaker, t-shirts from marching band stuff, yearbooks, and class ring. I probably have a couple other random things from senior year tucked away somewhere, but not sure.
