We're staying home but I'm going to make my homemade salsa as a treat to DH. But that means I need to go to the store today- crowd will be worse than Thanksgiving shopping I'm sure.
Staying here. Neighbors coming over. I'm making crockpot Philly cheese streaks for sandwiches Mozzarella stuff garlic rolls Chips dips salsas Neighbor is bringing pigs in a blanket and cupcakes I better get my run in lol
We're laying low, just the two of us. For snacks, I'm making buffalo chicken dip & DH is making guacamole. I'm also going to make these oven baked sliders I found that look amazing, and sweet potato fries. Plus beer. I should have saved my 18-miler for today! Lol
I'm a lifelong Broncos fan and I want to actually watch the game, so we are staying home.
I'm making soup for dinner which is boring, but I told DD we could make a treat. Slutty brownies sounds amazing after hearing you all rave, but I should probably change the name for my little parrot. "Ms Sarah, I made you a slutty brownie for Valentine's Day!"
We are hosting. DH's bday was yesterday so it's a bday/super bowl party. We are making chili (2 diff kinds). My sisters are brining apps and a bought this incredible chocolate cake for dessert. Pretty easy
Just us at home. I'll make chicken wing dip, maybe some soft pretzel bites, and some dip so I can get in some veggies. I may throw together beef barley soup, but haven't decided.
We are going to party and I'm making mini taco boats. I got the little mini taco boats, ground turkey, taco seasoning, black beans, cheddar, sour cream, olives, jalapeños, tomatoes, avocado, red onion and salsa. FX it comes out good!
We're staying home, and quite honestly I'll probably fall asleep before the end of the game. But I'm making bruschetta, my H is making taco dip, and we'll have homemade milkshakes for dessert. We're not particularly going all out but I'm still excited for it!
we are having some friends over for the game and making Chex mix Chips and guacamole Rotel and velveeta dip (I know...) Spinach dip with bread Apples with caramel Veg sticks and hummus Grapes (dd's request) Brownies with York patties inside

Just staying home, thanks to the baby and toddler (otherwise we would have SO been at @vtcupcake 's amazing party!). After bedtime for them, H and I are going to have club sandwiches, soft pretzel bites, queso, chips and maybe brownies?

I have no idea. I am sending H to the store with the instructions to buy some kind of dip and a Panthers cake if they still have any. I probably didn't eat enough yesterday, and what I did eat came up later, so I'm eating everything today.

DH and I have a rule that if one of our teams in the Super Bowl, we get to pick what we want to do and the other person is the automatic DD.
My Broncos fan husband still has not decided what he would like to do – he's leaning toward hanging out at a bar with some of his friends (which means I would drop him off and then go hang out with my friends) or stay home and get appetizers.
We are going to the neighbors house. I think in getting a reputation on our street because when I asked what I should bring, she said everyone thought I'd bring something healthy. I'm not sure how to take that honestly... But I figure I should live up to it.
I'm going to make red lentil 'hummus' with carrots and red pepper slices, and chipotle sweet potato sliders

We have a tradition of theming the food after one or both of the teams. This year we went with Carolina:
Pimento cheese with celery and pretzels Smoked pulled pork, homemade BBQ sauce, and buns Cole slaw Macaroni and cheese Sweet potato pie with pecan crumble topping

Half hour before game time, we went to pick up potato skins and delicious taquitos and are hanging out at home.
Between a conversation with CallingAllAngels in Charleston and listening to NPR this morning, my thoughts toward Cam Newton have softened considerably (although I stand by my assertion that he cannot act to save his life and thus I get punchy when his yogurt commercial comes on). I am legitimately torn over which team I want to see win. #winefuledthoughts
Cheese and crackers with veggie sticks, caramel miso glazed popcorn, whatever else people bring for noshies
The Mr. and Mrs. Cupcake patented Nacho Taco Bar (TM): homemade pulled pork, homemade bbq pulled chicken with my homemade cherry cola bbq sauce, homemade queso, homemade guac, homemade roasted corn and black bean salsa, along with more shredded cheese, diced onions, diced tomatoes, sour cream, homemade tomato salsa (from our last garden), corn and flour tortillas, and halfway assembled "foundation" nachos
Signature cocktails: The Dab (rum pineapple juice, blue curacao, and a dash of creme de cassis), and The HGH (it's basically a Moscow mule made with a simple syrup of Honey, Ginger, and Habanero)
Beer, wine, whatever else people bring/want to drink
And
I'm so stupidly proud of these
I legit made crownies for dessert.
Next year I'm taking Monday off and leaving the little one with the grandparents!!

I tell my kids they're super brownies. I thought about telling them they were special brownies but I thought that might allude to something else.
eta: katinthehat I took them to Charleston and shared the recipe there.
It's a layer of box cookie dough, a layer of Oreos, and a layer of fudge brownie batter. Baked until done.
