I have. It was actually pretty easy. I made sure I cleaned off the stencil pretty often to make sure paint didn't bleed thru. I used the tea-house-trellis-allover-stencil-pattern stencil for the walls.
I can't remember the color I picked - it's an Olympic color matched to Benjamin Moore. The color is the same for both. The wall color is a matte finish and the stencil is gloss. I added a little bit of white to the stencil color to provide a little contrast to the wall color.
I did the entry nook in our last house. I used a cutting edge stencil and it wasn't too bad. I got a TON of compliments. I'm not sure I would do a much bigger space than this if I ever do it again.

Young House Love stenciled the office in their last house. It was really pretty, and Sherry had good tips (as I remember) in getting the edges done right. Getting into the corners is tricky and takes some patience.
