I think H is going to leave me. I want to go home to talk to him when he gets off of work but I just started this job two weeks ago so I don't think I can ask to leave. I feel awful, I can barely focus, and I'm on the verge of tears.
I am so sorry. You have been there for him with his drinking. I am so sorry he is making you feel this way. If you need to talk just let me know!
I don't know what's going on. We talked after the other day, and honestly after what was said I've been really distant/borderline passive aggressive I guess. It seems right now he's sticking around. We'll talk more when I get home. We did talk about what he said and how shitty it was, and he acknowledged it was dickish and not handled well at all. We'll see. *shrug*
I think someone told me my daughter (dd2 - 4 yrs old) is going to be a stripper when she grows up!
We were at Costco waiting for our churro and drinks and her zipper hoodie jacket was falling off of her shoulders. Some older white dude says something about "how she must be frozen" (It's like 60 degrees outside, she's wearing pants, skirt, tank top and the jacket - only skin showing was shoulders and neck AND we were indoors)
I kind of laughed and said I was lucky she agreed to put the jacket on.
He then said "oh she's going to grow up and be one of those - uhh" and he stopped talking.
It didn't really click what he said until it was already awkward because he stopped talking, but WTF dude.
After he got his drink he said something to DD about "you're lucky there is no snow" he walked away and she told me "mommy that man was mean and told me something about snow"
We started to walk away and she saw him and loudly said while pointing "MOMMY THAT WAS THE MAN THAT WAS MEAN!"
I'm not 100% what he was going to say, but that's all I can figure out what he may have been about to say. I don't know how else to take it. I'm sure I'm overreacting but I really wish I would have caught what he was saying quicker and then made a comment about at least she'll be able to pay for her college, mother fucker.
I think maybe he was just commenting on how teens these days (did I just say that?) seem to think that sweatshirts are winter coats, and that basketball shorts are pants. That sort of thing.

I'm watching a 'Say Yes to the Dress' episode and some woman spent $70,000 on dresses for herself, her mom and her three kids, including $2500 on a toddler dress. My mouth is just sitting open. Wide, open, shock. And yes, all of them are in white wedding dresses. Holy moly.

Why can't teenagers put their cell phones away for a few hours while they test? WHY? Especially when their graduation depends on them passing the test?!
