Question for the tea drinkers

Where do you get your loose leaf herbal tea?  I like Teavana but it's so freakin expensive. Do you order online?

I buy Republic of Tea loose-leaf tea online. They have a lot of varieties I love. Unfortunately they don't do sales like EVER, but I think their tins are still a good value. I don't drink much herbal tea, so I don't have many specific recs.

I'm not sure if it's "good quality" or a good price, but he likes it.

But really, if you can find a local tea shop it's awesome to go in and just smell them all.

Local Indian or Asian store. Their prices are lower, but they dont carry too many of the flavored kinds.

I don't think teavanna is worth the price but I pay similar at a local tea place or David's Tea

I love www.theteatable.com for loose herbal teas. They have a large selection of both fruity ones and rooibos. They sell by the ounce. Plus, every time you order you can choose three free samples, so you can try new teas freely.

FYI - I just placed an order with Stash online and got shipping, 3.5 oz of new tea and a new tea tin for less than $20.

 I would love some recommendations. I love earl gray and have a giant tin of that. The last herbal one I tried from Teavana was wild orange blossom which I loved.

My favorites are chai rooibos, rainbow rooibos, apple cinnamon and lemon mango.

Also really good are le marche spice rooibos, Roman provence rooibos, orange cream rooibos, sweet sin rooibos, lady Hannah's whole fruit, bingo blueberry, Casablanca and cranberry apple.

Adaigo is fucking terrific - we just order online. I also had a pretty good experience at a local David's Tea and it was nice to go in and sniff everything and taste the seasonal teas.

Whole Foods has a good selection. And sometimes Target has Harney & Son's LL.
