How big is the large one vs the smaller one? I'm hoping to buy this one and have it last a while but don't want something too teeny. I have never given or recieved an Easter basket before.
Can I hijack and ask if there's a knock off somewhere that will fit the liners? I bought a liner last year when they were cheap but didn't buy the actual basket.
Anyway, here is the small basket next to a bubble mower to give you an idea. You can't see even close to everything in the basket but maybe it will give you a better idea as to size.
The large is way too big and I give a lot. I would rather have stuff overflow than have to fill that large one yearly. Definitely get the smaller size, I'm glad I did.
I got the gold rope basket, no liner, in small. I think this will be good for a few years:) The only liner I liked was the gold dot but I don't love the pink flower do I am going to do without. Thanks ladies!

I have my eye on the gold rope basket too. Can you tag me when you get it? I'm worried the gold will fleck off.
This thread makes me miss my childhood Easter basket so much. It was a handmade, Seagrams very small pink heart basket. I used it for 30+ years, and it held the flower girl's petals at my wedding. It was DS's eastern asker his first 3 years of life. Last fall when my parents moved, my dad apparently decided to donate all the "random" baskets they owned, and my Easter basket was in there

that would make me so sad too:( Trying to find a silver lining...maybe now that you have two kids it's good, because now they can both have similar baskets and start a new tradition

That's what I keep telling myself. Starting new traditions. It's hard b/c this is a pattern with my parents. They consider anything they bought for me to be *theirs*, not mine. When I went off to college they gave away my American Girl doll & accesories, hocked my flute and telescope, among other things, without asking me. They're wonderful parents and grandparents, but are very thoughtless sometimes.

Will do!!
I got the silver version and I think it seems like nice quality. The only thing that bugs me is that the handle is on a hinge and doesn't stay up unless you are holding it or it is full. DS has the white version which isn't like this.
