OMG you guys, DD did that thing we don't talk about FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HER LIFE. She slept 7:30-6:45, and I slept 10:30-7:30 (it was DH's turn to get up with the kids). Happy Valentine's Day to meeeee!
DS went to bed early which is unheard of for him even when he skips nap like yesterday. He woke up around 3a which a croupy cough and feeling a bit warm. I gave him Advil and he finally went down around 4:30a. He is still sleeping at 7:45a (usually up 5-6a). Poor kiddo. I hope the sleep helps and he feels ok when he wakes up.
yellowbird. How are you doing? Sounds like it is go time!!
X woke up at 5:30 and yelled that he had to pee. I took him potty and he went back to sleep for 45 minutes. The early wake ups have been the downside to PTing. He had been sleeping until 7:45 regularly. I hope we will get back there eventually!
We're going to make pancakes later. H is sleeping in today.
I woke up to the sound of the cat barfing on the bed. So that was a fun way to start the day. DS and I both woke up with colds, and he's developed a red rash around his mouth and chin. Happy Valentine's Day!
Oh man it's cold here! We have a fairly new heater and it's having trouble keeping up. We were going to go visit DH at work for Valentine's Day, but it's way too cold to bring the baby out.
It was 3 days after my due date for my MMC and I thought we were out for yet another cycle. I was feeling so disappointed and then, surprise! My crazy little Valentine

We've been up for three hours and have been flitting between activities. So far we've pushed cars back and forth, had breakfast, played with the Little People world, played in rice, did some colouring, read a handful of books, played with the M&D sticker book, played with the train set and played with his play kitchen. It's only 8:00. Four hours til nap time. What in the world are we going to do for the rest of the day?
D and I had a decent night of sleep, but I'm disappointed that C woke up earlier than normal today.
We're waiting for SS to get dropped off at 9 and then we're going to my parent's house so I can be lazy and get help parenting. H works until 1pm and I think is going to take the older boys ice skating later.
I woke up at 6:25 and the baby made noises like he was waking up. He always wakes up at 6:15-6:30, no exceptions. Until today. I am lying in bed at 7:15 a.m.!! I already have a load of laundry going because I forgot to wash his Valentine's Day shirt after his daycare party, and now I am just relaxing. Bliss!
ETA: I started typing this awhile ago, before you posted, bananapancakes. I feel like a tool for posting about rest when you have been up for hours. I'm sorry!
I'm glad we don't celebrate Valentine's day because it would be completely ruined if we did. Instead it's just a 3 day weekend ruined. DS has had diarrhea for 24 hours and we're off to urgent care in a bit. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep because he was up so much. And DD probably didn't sleep very well listening to DS cry all night, so she's currently yelling and whining that she wants my oatmeal. I often let her share mine, but lately she just takes it from me and I'm not in the mood for her shenanigans because I'm so exhausted.
M- My favorite food is bacon, just like A. A- Well actually bacon is my second favorite food. My first favorite food is vegetables. Me- All of them? Or specific ones? A- Only the ones that aren't spicy like jalapeños, but spicy like radishes is okay. Am I the only kid that eats radishes?
How does my kid like vegetables more than bacon? (Yes this is a brag, and yes it is nice, but it is really amusing to me, because vegetables are not my favorite. I eat them because I have to.)

Nods got up a little earlier than I wanted, but then while I was getting breakfast she saw a deer at the back of our yard.
Then I thought it started raining, but really it's snow that is falling fast and furious like rain and is accumulating quickly. I guess it's a good thing we were planning to stay home since the boys has fevers yesterday.
All the snow in the back of the yard is new in the last 10 minutes. The front is left over from 2 days ago.
My two year old was finished with her breakfast. I went to hand her sister a piece of her bacon, and she took it out of my hands, started to hand it to her sister, and then pulled it back and licked it. Omfg. I tried so hard not to laugh. I did not succeed.
My kid is currently playing Hide and Seek with his stuffed dog. He covered the dog up with a blanket then covered his own eyes and said, "Three. One. Here I come!" (Apparently the number two doesn't exist in his world, he always skips it.) Then he told the dog, "It's my turn to hide!" and covered himself with the blanket. Adorable.
Omg I hope I'm not catching Ethan's bug. We did a six course tasting menu with wine pairings last night. It was amazing. But then afterwards I projectile vomited. Now my guts are wonky.

DD's talking ability has come a long way thanks to speech therapy, but apparently we still need to work on the end of words. For breakfast this morning, she just asked for boobies and nudies (blueberries and noodles).
I'm having a crappy weekend. L has been a monster all weekend. I don't know what's going on. He has been a whiny tantrum throwing mess. He did this all day yesterday and woke up this morning and before he is even out of bed it started again. I'm going to loose it. And it's valentines and I'm alone

It is the best thing ever when they start to do this. I walked in once on DD1 playing a board game with her beloved stuffed elephant. I.die.

DD woke up twice last night. She just needed to be held for like 5 mins and would fall right back asleep, no nursing needed. So good, but annoying. I'm guessing becuase we are not at home she just must have been thrown off. And I kept having strange dreams all night, I feel like I barely slept at all.
J left for work a little while ago so AJ and I had breakfast and are watching the Puppy Bowl from last week. He wanted to watch the dog agility competition we watched before bed last night but I didn't think to record it. Oops. Now he's going back and forth between playing with his golf set, his new Hot Wheels, and putting Marshall down the Lookout slide.
I need to give the dog a bath, then we're heading to my parents. After I stop at Starbucks for my last molten chocolate frappucino. ::sob::

I can't decide what to do today. We need groceries and to clean the house and it would be nice for DS if we did something other than sit and watch movies. But ugh I'm so tired. I also should think of a craft or something to do with my niece when she comes over this afternoon, but again, ugh. So tired.

I'm watching wheels on the bus with A while H sits with M whose sleep has gone to shit since she got RSV.
We're going to my parents' for dinner. Happy Valentine's day! Lol. But really, H is much happier to eat a delicious steak my dad does on the Traeger than pay a bunch at a crowded restaurant!
