We frequent Subway the most, but I like pretty much all food that I don't have to cook . McD's, Panera, Subway and Jimmy Johns are places we go to the most. I'd say at least twice per month for the kids and me.
And since we're on the topic, F you McDonald's for taking away the $1 menu and $1 drinks!
Funny story. My h called me one day and sounded devastated. He said, "I have bad news." I was like what?! "The dollar menu. It's gone. Just gone." Hahahaha.

Lol I may or may not have sent a rage filled text to DH when I had a sleeping baby and couldn't get a $1 Diet Coke and a cheeseburger

McDonalds has that new "McPick Two" though, right? My mom was raving about how great that is and how she got her burger and mozzarella sticks for $2 and how I really needed to try it because it was SUCH a good deal, lol.

One of ours did that for a couple of weeks but not anymore

I don't think Panera counts as fast food. All of our pizza places have drove throughs but I don't think that counts either I love Panera but the last two times I went it was highly disappointing.
We had a drive thru panera about 20 Minutes away where we used to live and I would literally drive there weekly when I was pregnant with DS. We probably fast food once every 2 months. Mainly because they are about 15 minutes away and the time it would take me to get there and get back.. Well it's no longer really fast. Do we consider pizza fast food? Bc we eat a lot of pizza...

The panera near us brings food to your table so I guess I never considered it fast food either. I'm not a huge panera fan - never had a bad experience, but never left thinking that was yummy.
Everyone please feel sorry for me (and, I'm guessing, my fellow Canadians): We do not have Panera Bread, In & Out, Sonic, Chick Fil A, or Jimmy John's.
We do have Harvey's, though.
The only one I've been to on that list is Panera, the rest aren't in my area either. And honestly, Panera was good when I was in college, but once the company got bigger their quality slid fast. It tastes like oversalted nothing.

We do take out once a week, but from regular local restaurants, not fast food. I just don't find fast food tasty at all and it's no cheaper than ordering take out from a restaurant, so we almost never eat it.
When we're on a road trip I'll look for a Starbucks to get food since they have some decent food options.

I *just* told dh the other day that their advertisers must think people are really stupid...advertising 2 items for $2 when you used to be able to get 1 item for $1 to try to make people think it was a good deal when really now you HAVE to pay $2. I try to avoid eating at McDonalds at all costs because it upsets my stomach, but when I did, it was always the dollar cheeseburger or nuggets!

No. I'm not counting pizza because it would make my ff number embarrassingly high lol we do pizza around once a week.
Pizza is definitely not fast food. You have to cal and order it so they can make it for you. It's not sitting under warming lights waiting for if/when a customer wants it. Or at least, no pizza I've seen.
When I hear fast food I think greasy unhealthy food sitting in warming trays waiting for me to run through the drive through and have it tossed at me in a bag.

Is there still a fast food restaurant out there that makes food in advance and has it sitting there waiting, though? I'm pretty sure McDonalds and the rest of the greasy drive-thrus make most of what you're getting when you drive up and order it. Like, I know they cook the fries in big batches, and they aren't slapping a raw patty on the grill, but it's not like it used to be where they'd have rows of sandwiches already wrapped up and sitting under the lights.

I honestly have no idea. But that's what I think of when I hear fast food.
Even if they make it fresh I still wouldn't consider it quick serve which is how I categorize panera, chipotle
