I screwed up my alarm this morning and set it for an hour later than it should have been. Leaving my house later means traffic goes from normal-suck to complete and utter disaster. That 1 hour of sleep cost me a 30 min run, a strength/balance session and an hour long swim. Plus I was a half hour late to work.
So... My nurse thinks I may have a hernia. I'm going to the clinic today because I've had some annoying lower abdominal pain that I thought was just ligaments. It's stayed in the same spot all week and doesn't really go away, so I guess I'll see what my doctor says. Has anyone had this happen?
I have one from pregnancy. It's non symptomatic but will have to be repaired if (fingers crossed) I get pregnant again
Well then I hope you end up needing it repaired! Is it pretty easy for them to diagnose, or is it something I'll end up with 'wait or see' or needing scans for?
I have over Deep-Heated my legs post run today. My eyes are stinging, I put far too much on. (I've not rubbed my eyes, it's just that I work in a small home office and hadn't opened a window.) I feel like I've been sniffing marker pens.

Probably wait and see. At least that's what my OB said

I thought I had a hernia after my second pregnancy. It was more of weak spot that ended up healing gradually post-pregnancy. We did a wait and see approach and I went a year post-pregnancy and it was gone. They diagnose by ultrasound. I did Pilates and that seemed to have helped.

AF is visiting here too and I feel like crap. I'm curled up on the couch in my pj's eating the last of my Trader Joe's cookie batter butter dark chocolate cups (thanks again labbie !) and feeling guilty for not being out running with DH. Race is Sunday and because of this and weather last night (we got the nasty stuff the east coast is getting tonight - y'all stay safe) I haven't run this week. I will get a shakeout run in Friday and I know I'll be fine Sunday but it still bothers me.
