He's coming you guys! He's going to save us from Trump. Or you know, he's not and we can all just wildly speculate for the next 24 hours.
Dear Mitt,
Hi. I don't know you. I didn't vote for you in 2012. Nothing personal, I just like my lady freedoms so I vote for SCOTUS noms primarily. But if you can save us from Trump, I'll give you my never-going-to-happen-third-born. Or maybe a long distance high five.
All the best, OscarQ
ETA: That's the headline now on CNN hence the quotes. Also, I looked but didn't see this posted elsewhere so I apologize if it is a dupe.
A source says he won't be announcing or endorsing, so what the hell else is there?
An anti-endorsement?
"I don't know which of these yahoos to support, but Trump? WTH? Did you all fall down and hit your collective heads? Or are you really that stupid and/or racist and sexist?"

Maybe an "I told you so! GOPers didn't turnout enough for me so not only did you get Obama, but THIS is what you get for the GOP field now!" Followed by a statement about, "... and I'm moving to Costa Rica b/c I'm rich and it doesn't matter anymore."

This election continues to be so weird. Part of me wants to say "too little, too late guys" with Paul Ryan speaking up yesterday and possibly Romney tomorrow. Can they make a difference with trump steering the clown car at full speed ahead?
What a coward. And no, Mitt, you can't be the adult in the room if you are going to praise the guy claiming Trump peed his pants and making jokes about the size of his hands.

If the GOP is really serious about stopping Trump, someone has to come out and say that they won't support him if he's the nominee. Until then, they all just sound like the teacher from Peanuts.

And Cruz. CRUZ.
Oh Mittens! Once again, you've let me down. PS - this lack of spine? It's a not insignificant reason you are not President Mittens.

But they have. I mean, not enough of them have. But some of them have.

Huh, I didn't realize that. That's good news, I guess.

Yeah but unfortunately all it does is fuel the anti-establishment fire. "Oh these guys don't like Trump. That makes me like him even more."
Charlie Baker (MA Governor) said today he wouldn't vote for Trump in November either.
I'm glad to hear this. when he heard about the Muslim ban he pretty much called him an asshole.
I was glad to hear it, too. The only time I've ever voted for a Republican was for Baker (because I couldn't stand Coakley), so I'm always relieved when he does something to justify my support

Bob Dold, rep from Illinois, who I actually kind of like and who is probably therefore a total RINO.

I doubt logical reasoning/threats from a big, bad, establishment guy will do anything to quiet or dissuade the Trump supporters. The horse has left the barn and none of the GOP can do anything about it at this point except watch it burn.
