I made a queen size blanket for each of my boys. The plan was for them to get them for college, but since #2 is joining the army I gave him his a little earlier so he could use it a bit before he heads to basic training in August.
I have a bunch of stuff finished on my blog (link in sig) but here are a couple of favorites.
I've seen these patterns but didn't think they'd look good on me. You look great in them! I'm outside the size range still but not too far. Going to have to make these then.

I love seeing all these different projects! I've been working on a baby blanket for our adoption. Gender neutral (we've not been matched yet), but with some yarn I've never worked for. It's called Cumulus, and it's seriously like working with clouds!!

I love, LOVE Grainline Patterns. I love sewing because I love fabric, especially prints. And I feel like Jen's modern basics are the perfect base for the kind of fabrics I like to use.
I'm doing Me Made May this year, and tracking what I wear. 7 out of 9 days so far, I've worn a Grainline Pattern. I'm wearing a Scout today!

Beautiful! And I didn't know you were adopting. We adopted DD 6 years ago

Yep! We finished up our home study a few weeks ago, and now we're just waiting! I'm nervous, excited, terrified...all at once!! Any advice for getting through the wait?

LOL, I'm the worst person to ask! We just lived our lives like it was never going to happen, and were pleasantly surprised when we got a call a few months later. Our agency had a support group, you can check to see if something like that is available. And we started buying adorable baby things.
Fun fact: when we brought DD home, I had NOTHING knitted for her. Nothing
