I"m travelling for work. I have a king sized bed to myself. I watched TV last night, fell asleep before 10 and got up at 5 to get some work done and go for a run before my meetings. No lie. It was the best night's sleep I've had in 8 years. The bed is amazingly comfy. No kids climbing in in the middle of the night. No dogs or cats moving around. No DH touching me. I could get used to this. And DH is struggling a bit at home with the kids alone. I'm only feeling a tinge guilty!!!
I negotiated a sweet internet deal at our new house. All I said was fios was giving me a better deal and suddenly they were throwing things at me.
I tried that last year with Time Warner and the rep was just really rude and I got nothing. In fact It seems that they may have decreased my internet speed.

Fios is pretty new here still so I think they're desperate to keep people. It's good for 2 years which was better than fios.

Ugh everyone in my house has a stomach virus . I got sick in the middle of a work conference and threw up in the Mariott public restroom. So embarrassing
we were going to order Chipotle through the app but it said it would be an hour and 15 minutes. We thought that was bullshit for a Thursday night so dh went over there and yeah...huge line. Not THAT long though. I think people are cashing in on their BOGO free burritos.

Have you seen the John Oliver bit on Chipotle? It's pretty hilarious.

I am so excited. We have a plan for our entry way reno. It isn't exactly what I wanted but it might actually look better than I had hoped. AND, I had budgeted $600 and I think we can do it for $400! All I want is to actually have somewhere to put stuff. I am tired of our cramped ass messy entry.
D is more fussy tonight than he's ever been in his short little life. I sent H to Target for baby Tylenol because we apparently only had children's. I don't know if it's his cold or the shots, but he's so unsettled. Poor baby.
Had my OB appt today - 35w2d, fingertip dilated, and baby is head down!!! He either sensed my panic about position or he is also concerned about position given my history, so he broke out the u/s machine to confirm despite all signs pointing to vertex. Either way, I've never been so happy to see a skull appear on the screen.
And since they moved my appointment up today, I had time to get my hair cut after. I think it's been a year or longer since I went. It feels so nice now!
DS woke at 5am this morning. He was calling out my name, so I ran down, thinking he had to pee or something. If he's awake he won't pee in his nighttime diaper.
But nope. He just wanted to make sure I knew his hair was blonde. "Mama, mom, mommm." Then he pointed to his hair. "My hair is blonde."
I reminded him it was still nighttime. (Kind of.) And he went back to bed until 7am.
Also - I have my sonohystogram tomorrow. Pray I don't have polyps and that they read my original ultrasound incorrectly. I have all the feelings. I haven't even finished with all of the post-op appointments for my chest, and am facing another possible surgery.
I'm totally having a "WHY ME" moment over here. And eating pancakes.
A man was found dead in a local park nearish to my house (about 15 minutes). Turns out, I knew him. He was the brother of a girl I used to train with in CrossFit and the ex-boyfriend of a good friend of mine (they were still good friends). I met him a few times. Foul play looks to be involved.
The world is too small, and too real. I'm so sad for my friends.
An hour isn't bad!! It sucks in the moment, but makes such a huge difference in the long run. I hope it's clicked for him!
thanks! Did E wake up the night you ST'd her? Did you do CIO or feed her? Set a time that you would feed after?
She took an hour and a half, asleep at 8:30. Woke up at 10 & cried for 20 minutes, but put herself back to sleep. I said I would feed her anytime after 1, since she had done a 6 hour stretch previously. I think she woke up at 12:30 and I fed her at 1. Put her back wide awake and she fell right asleep, no fussing, until 5 or 6 & I fed her again.
OMG my sister and I are going to NY in June to see Hamilton. We're spending a million dollars, but both agreed it's worth it. We're going to try to plant the idea to mom to float the tickets for our birthday presents, but we're going regardless.
My sister is the only person I could text and say, "Hey, download this soundtrack" and 48 hours later we're both so obsessed that we're buying flights. lololol we're so ridiculous.
Where's that gif of the Community chick saying "I'm so jealous I could murder you." Yeah. Have fun!
My kids were exhausted after daycare today so we literally had dinner, bathed and went to bed. So DH and I have been playing on our phones/watching tv in peace for like 2.5 hours.
We also taught my DS to turn the tv on by himself in the am to put netlfix on. I'm reallllly hopeful this means I don't get woken up at 6am tomorrow.

My sister and I are the same way.
Actually, I mentioned to h tonight there's a few things in Chicago I want to do, and now he's looking into going next month for a quick kids-free getaway.

longtimenopost - ugh, I wish magically drops existed for nap time! I can't get DD on any sort of nap schedule or get her to fall asleep on her own for nap time. So annoying!
I'm the opposite of @starry and can't wait for DST. All the kids wake up in the early 6am hour and I'd love for that to become 7am.
