LOL, I'm not doing a very good job of being more active over here....
Anyway, how was yours?
Friday, I finished work early and met Mike at the tap room for a couple of beers. We had dinner there and then I was struggling to stay away around 8:00, so I was in bed, crashed out at 9. Super fun.
Saturday, I met my mom for lunch, did some shopping, and then met my sisters for afternoon drinks. Had a sandwich for dinner and was crashed out at 9:30. WTF.
Yesterday, I taught a yoga class and went a little harder on them than I'd initially planned...oops. LOL, I'm already sore. Stayed at the tap room and had grilled cheeses from the food truck, then took M shopping for some new work clothes and checked out a new place for dinner. We watched Walking Dead and I was in bed at 10.
The time change hasn't messed with me at all...so I guess it was good that I was lame and slept about 9 hours every weekend night.

Hey, there! My weekend was pretty great! Friday I headed out to Austin and got there around 9 pm. BFF and I just sat around drinking wine and catching up for a few hours in our PJ's once I got there.
Saturday we got up and headed out to Llano for the Earth Art Festival, which is essentially a hippie festival. There was organic & vegan food trucks, a bunch of tents set up with vendor goods like soaps, handmade jewelry, clothing, household items, etc. A communal art tent with all kinds of cool artwork for sale. And down by the bank of the river had a rock stacking competition for everyone to participate. The winner had rocks stacked up over 8 feet tall (and needed a ladder to measure)! There was also live music, a rock-climbing wall, and the beer profits went to a non-profit group that helps preserve the parks.
Sunday we slept in and made some banana nut muffins for breakfast. We went out to the original Whole Foods store to meet BFF's mom for lunch and chat a bit on their outdoor patio. I headed back after that and got back home around 6. Had dinner, prepped for the work week, and just relaxed a bit.

What do you know about Old Settler's Reunion in Driftwood? My hippie cousin has been trying to get us to go for the last couple of years, but it's always the week before our anniversary, so we would have to take extra time off.

The weekend was much more hectic than I anticipated.
We had Friday off, so we slept in, fit in a workout, then showered up and headed north to meet my parents for dinner. We spent the rest of the evening just chatting with them.
Saturday was a cousin's birthday party, so we were there all afternoon and into the evening. I finally met said cousin's kid. The cousin married a good friend of mine from high school, so she and I caught up, which was nice. After dinner, H and I made the 2-hour trip back home.
Sunday, slept in. Was lazy for too long then had to rush to get ready for a bridal shower....Which was super awkward. The only person I knew was the bride and I had met her mom and aunt, but that was it. She didn't know half the people either. Fortunately her boss's wife befriended me, so I had somebody to talk to for the 2nd hour. After that since I was already dressed up, H and I went to a neighboring town for dinner and a trip to Lowes. And when we got back I had to rush to get laundry done, stayed up too late and still didn't finish.

You know, I haven't been out to that one yet, but it's definitely more of a music festival (rather than art/earth focused festival like the Llano one).
They have multiple stages and multiple days. I think you can camp out there, too, if you do the full weekend, but I'm not sure what the camping rates are. I know a friend did say the single day tickets were reasonable (at least, compared to ACL Fest).
I just took a lookie at the the line-up and if you DO decide to go, try to see the band called Shinyribs. I know the trumpet player in that band, lol. I'm sure it's a lot of fun, especially since most of the music festivals in that area are super-chill with a good mix of people.

LOVE Shinyribs! We've seen them a couple times. I'll never forget hearing them play TLC's "Waterfalls"!
Hopefully it will fall closer to our anniversary one year so I don't have to rent a cabin for 7+ nights.
Mine was good! Friday I took my aunt out to dinner and she picked this great Italian place in New Haven. The food was SO GOOD! Then we went home and watched a couple episodes of Outlander.
Saturday I drove up to RI to spend the night at BFF's. We went out for lunch and drinks, then picked up take out for dinner. We spent most of the night taking bong hits and catching up. It was perfect! We watched "Brooklyn", which was pretty good, too.
Sunday I stuck around to spend a little time with her H and DD when they got back from his parents' house. Then I drove to CT to hang out with my parents and have dinner. I ended up going back to my aunt's to stay over Sunday night so I could be a little closer to NY for my 5am drive home, which actually worked out great - I was back in Brooklyn 6:45am.
Also! My aunt had to have my car fixed because she backed into it in her driveway (lol), and they actually fixed my radio! I've needed a code for it since the battery died IN 2011, and since I didn't have the owner's manual I've been SOL since then. I was so excited!
I'm definitely taking note of your recommendations, @stellarsailor - thanks! ACME and Mothers were already on my (extensive, unrealistic) list, but now I need to try the iced coffee...
It was fun! We went down to Philly with some friends to Fogo de Chao for all the meats. We hit up some bars, but it was super-crazy with bar crawls. We stayed overnight downtown and stopped at a diner on the way home. I now have S's cold - he's rarely home, but when he is he shares THAT with me. Blech.

It was pretty good! Opened the new shop and hung out with some friends on Saturday, then had a firepit, wine, and awesome conversation on Saturday night.
Sunday we got some stuff done around the house and then had dinner with my FIL and his gf before they left to head back to FL.

How did you have room for drinks after going to Fogo? I am usually so stuffed and in a meat-coma when I leave that place that I wouldn't have room for anything else including drinks!
Sorry you got sick. Hopefully it passes quickly and you feel better tomorrow!
