But, he is the best candidate for women and understands issues pertaining to women. Lol no.
My guess is you pay more per person in your household because he is trying to fund UHC so each child costs more.
but yeah I don't want to pay 20k more in taxes lol. Although our health insurance costs about 15k....
Of course he isn't talking about funding child care, but free college. We have so many discussions on this board about how child care costs are killing families. Even with UHC, I just cannot see how families can continue to pay for childcare, or continue to pay on their student loan obligations with the increased taxation.

When I entered my info it said under Bernie I would pay 7000 more. I currently pay 50.00 a paycheck for insurance for two people. I have awesome insurance (no deductible.). To be honest I work in a school district that pays the least in a 50 mile radius. In surrounding districts after teaching for 18 years, I would be making approximately 15-20k more a year. I stayed there for various reasons, the fact that it's a small city district that is diverse and needs teachers, but the cheap (to me) insurance was part of my decision. I consider it part of my compensation. So that 7000 is getting me absolutely nothing, and my district is not going to add the money they spent on premiums to our pay schedule. I am not against helping people, but I cannot afford that much more a year. That's about 75% of housing costs for the year.I am an HRC supporter, believe in social welfare programs, support initiatives for people who are struggling. I would be OK with a small increase but we cannot absorb this. I feel like most Bernie supporters don't understand how much their taxes could go up. I pretty sure the wall of text makes me sound like a jerk. Flame away!

Oh trust me, I'm not a Bernie fan. And I am VERY pro-government daycare. I'd rather have that than the useless (IMO) EITC that I somehow have been eligible for multiple times. I'd rather that go to providing high quality childcare for low income families.
