Birth Day was really, really rough--3rd c/s. It was a combo of things. 1, a ton of scar tissue to cut through (my c/s took about 10 minutes longer), and then the anesthesiologist lowered my pain protocol because of my size, and then didn't adjust it until almost 6 that night. I was at a 10 on the pain scale for at least 3 or 4 hours. I was sobbing at times. It was horrible. So much worse than the 1ST 2. I don't think I even touched my phone until early evening. My one FB post that day was courtesy of DH.
We were done anyway, but doc says absolutely no more kids. She said my uterine wall was like a window, which is only kind of terrifying.
Sam is AMAZING. I love having a son. Eats well, sleeps decently, and he's just so snuggly. Because my DH is awesome, I actually got almost 8 hours of straight sleep last night (one of the bonuses of formula. ). That's goes a long way towards recovery.

Congrats lady! He is beautiful
I'm sorry about the pain. I'm gearing up for my third CS and I'm scared now lol. Don't feel like you have to answer- but had there been any issues with your 2nd CS or did this come out of left field?

Thinking of you and hope you heal quickly!
My uterine wall was thin with my 2nd, but my previous OB had reinforced it, or so I thought.
The bigger issue by far was the asshole anesthesiologist...I burn through meds quickly. Always have. Yet he lowered my epi to below standard, which controls pain at my hospital for the first 48 hours), and wasn't willing to make adjustments (adjustment, and extra meds for breakthrough pain happened after shift change--almost 12 hours after c/s). That's really what made it so bad. Once my pain was actually treated, it's been like the other 2 c-sections. So just keep your anesthesiologist in check, and you will not have an experience like mine. . The scar tissue was a surprise (to me), but my doc told me as soon as she was in there, and that it would extend the procedure time. So I wasn't laying there, wondering what was going on.

Thank you so much for your update. I really appreciate it! I'm so sorry you had that horrible anesthesiologist. That sounds awful! Glad to hear you had an awesome doctor who kept you informed!
