katespade I love polka dots too, just perfectly round ones. But if you love them, get them! They aren't ugly, just not my style. Now you sent me down the keds rabbit hole. I now have 8 pairs in my cart...I should post them all so you can help me decide! (Are keds on zulilly today? I was just on their website)
@emtmissy impressive! Did you make the fondant and everything?
amaranth - I don't see any Keds on Zulily today, but you should definitely post the ones you're looking at! I've never owned a pair of Keds. Do they run TTS?

They're quite narrow in my experience. Most are true to size but occasionally run half a size small. I am a 6.5 and have 3 pairs in 6.5 and one in a 7. They have legit free returns so if you're unsure of sizing order the same pair in a few sizes. I did that a few years ago.
My biggest issue with them is that the back hits my ankle in a bad spot and causes blisters, but that's different on everyone.

This is my biggest problem with cute shoes! How can I find cute ones that don't give me blisters!! (My feet are weird and I only get blisters on my right foot, does that mean they are too small on that foot? I know my right is slightly bigger.)
awick14: IME, it blisters happen more when my shoes are too big because it rubs the skin weirdly rather than staying in place. Mind you, badly designed shoes are going to hurt you either way!

amaranth MOLE SKIN guys......those thin (not the padded ones) moleskin patches. I think Dr. Scholls makes them, but most stores have their own generic ones too. You can cut them to fit the shape of the shoe so they aren't noticeable. They have an adhesive side that sticks to the shoe itself. LIFESAVERS.

Can you post an Amazon link so I know what to look for?

This is ALMOST it. You just have to look for this stuff without the padding. The padding makes it worse for me. If you go to Walgreens or CVS, they'll have it without the padding. I couldn't locate it without the padding on Amazon.
It's a trick I learned from the dance studio. You can cut it to fit straps, the heels of shoes, etc...etc....but again, no padding. Get the thinner strips.
