1. How far along are you? 16w 2. Any milestones or big things to report? Had my 16w checkup this morning, heard the heartbeat again, and all is good. 3. Any vents/hair pats needed? Hmmm. I don't think so. Feeling pretty good at this stage. 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have 2 dogs. They basically didn't react at all to bringing home DS almost 3 years ago. They were a total non-issue.
2. Any milestones or big things to report? 3rd tri coming up this week!!!
3. Any vents/hair pats needed? Not really, I'm just a bit sore, and need to drink A LOT more water.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have 2 dogs. I was so worried about them being jealous, but it was literally love at first sight. Darcy considered herself DD's other mommy, and checked in on her every noise. Trevor was a little nervous at first, but he's so, so patient with her. I fully expect a lot of the same this time around.
2. Any milestones or big things to report? Starting to feel more movement! I had Friday off and when I got up I sat on the couch with my coffee, watched my belly move and felt the tiniest kicks. I know I might get sick of this, but right now every time he kicks me it feels like such a miracle.
3. Any vents/hair pats needed. My right leg is super achy. Feels like a big knot in my thigh muscle. I've had a really easy pregnancy so far, so I know I shouldn't complain. But I can't get comfortable and it's making me so crabby.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have two cats that rule the roost now. The boy is older and so chill. I think he'll be curious about the baby, and I suspect he will be a good little guardian. My little girl kitty loves to be in my lap all the time, sleeps on top of me at night, and will sit on top of her brother if he's on my lap, so I worry she'll be jealous of the baby and will try to climb on him to get to me once he's here.
1. How far along are you? 34w2d 2. Any milestones or big things to report? Nirsery is pretty much done. I just have to hang a couple of things on the wall and we are waiting for our rocker to be delivered. I also need to buy those last minute things like towels, soaps, and wash rags. 3. Any vents/hair pats needed- Sleep has become a distant memory. It's like clockwork, I always wake up at 1:30 with acid reflux and then need to use the bathroom. Then I have to find a comfortable position. 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? Our dog adjusted really well when we had DD. She was actually pretty protective of her. She always wanted to be near her and she would stand on her back legs to try to look in her swing. It was really sweet. I'm hoping that she will adjust just as easy with DD#2.
1. How far along are you? 18w 2. Any milestones or big things to report? A/S on Friday! 3. Any vents/hair pats needed I have had food poisoning since Fri and can hardly eat still (thankfully I am finally getting more Gatorade in me so I am staying hydrated). So over feeling nauseous 24/7 while having to parent C full time (he's awesome, just a ton of energy). 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? N/A
2. Any milestones or big things to report? Had the anatomy scan on Friday and everything looks perfect. We are so thrilled! Decided to hold off on knowing the sex--it just didn't feel like the right time.
3. Any vents/hair pats needed? Nope. I'm staying with my in laws this week and they have been fucking incredible in accommodating all my food aversions.
4. If have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? Don't think our fish or shrimp will mind.
1. 10+2 2. Nope 3. morning sickness is the worst 4. We have one outside dog. He won't be bothered at all. He isn't in good health and I'm not sure how much longer he will be around anyway.
1. How far along are you? 38w 5d! 2. Any milestones or big things to report? OH MY GOD 9 DAYS TO GO. Well until my due date anyways. Could easily be longer! 3. Any vents/hair pats needed: I'm just so tired and sore! I am very impatient and moody so feel bad for my husband and co-workers. 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? Just like jodippls, I think the cat won't care and the poor dog will have a rough time not being the baby of the house until she realizes the baby is a potential food source and then she'll love her. I keep apologizing to the dog and reassuring her that she'll always be my first baby.

A little late this week!
1. 11w0d 2. Second checkup yesterday. Baby's heart was galloping along! 3. Not really a vent but they said I had an irregular heartbeat yes stepdad and need to get it checked out. I've noticed the skips but yesterday made me start paying more attention. Weird. 4. We had a dog when DD was born. She was very old though and didn't really know what was happening!
2. Any milestones or big things to report? GTT is today. Yuck.
3. Any vents/hair pats needed Hello 3rd tri. Why must I be so uncomfortable in bed??
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have a lab, who gives no shits about the 3.5 year old. Except when he has food, then they are bffs. Bonus pic:

1. How far along are you? 25w3d 2. Any milestones or big things to report? nope 3. Any vents/hair pats needed Heartburn is killing me, and I just feel like everything hurts all the time. Too long to go still for that. 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have 2 cats who are used to always being around us/getting a lot of attention so I don't think they'll be pleased at first, but then I think the easy going one will be curious. The other one will probably just ignore the baby.
At this point in my pregnancy with DS I was sent by ambulance to the high-risk hospital because the ER thought I had another blood clot in my leg. Hoping to get through the 19th week this time without any drama.
3. Any vents/hair pats needed
I buckled down and made my H take a picture of me. Dear God in heaven, I should not be this big this soon. I really regret not losing that last 10-15 pounds before getting pregnant again.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby?
At first the dogs couldn't have cared less. After he became mobile they basically sit on the opposite side of the room and stare daggers at us. You can practically hear the fuckyoufuckyoufuckyou.
1. 25+4 2. Nada 3. I have indigestion all the freakin time and it makes me not want to eat. Baby kicks were cute at first but now they are just uncomfortable. None of my maternity clothes seem to be fitting right. I'm mostly just uncomfortable all the time and kind of over it already. I've also been having a lot of anxiety lately. I might make a separate post about it later... My dr prescribed lexapro but I'm too scared of effects on the baby to start taking it. 4. We had 2 Bulldogs and one passed away a few weeks ago The other one is now getting a boatload of extra attention and affection. Normally I think she'd just be curious and excited for a new friend but now that she is the queen of the house, she might be a little confused and jealous once baby comes home!
1. 15 + 4 2. newpp. 3. Just bad shoulder pain - this happened last pregnancy too 4. Our pooch was pretty cute last time. I think he'll get really interested and excited again this time - he loved smelling DS! I hope he's a little more chill about crying this time. He got over it after a couple weeks but for the first 2 weeks our dog did every wake up with us and was very concerned when the baby cried. Again cute, but our poor pooch was exhausted.
1. 29w today! 2. Had an u/s yesterday and got to see baby. He's in the 78th percentile, has some hair, and looks so much like his big brother! It's kind of weird how much they look alike. This also means this baby will look just like my H. 3. I need to up my fiber intake bad. 4. We have one dog who hates G. we have to keep them separated at all times. Our dog has issues anyway, but is getting older and crankier. I'm honestly not sure how much longer we have left with him. :/
1. How far along are you? 25w5d (as of Monday) 2. Any milestones or big things to report? Nope! 3. Any vents/hair pats needed I hurt.... which just makes me crabby. Sciatica pain, my hands and lower arms ache and are numb from carpal tunnel and my feet hurt. Blah. 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? I have a Beagle who is very loving and I'm sure will think the baby would like nothing more than to snuggle and tastes good when licked. I think she'll be more annoying with her than anything. My old crabby tabby (19!) will more than likely spend a few days in the basement and then glare at me from across the room, "First the beagle and now this?"
2. Any milestones or big things to report? We're public!
3. Any vents/hair pats needed Still some nausea but Zofran has really helped.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? My oldest pup was OBSESSED with DS when I brought him home. Her nub was constantly wagging like crazy and he had to be in her sight. When he cried at night she would jump on us on the bed and frantically make us tend to the baby. He went through a hair pulling phase but they're pretty much besties now and he calls her Sissy.
2. Any milestones or big things to report? Due date is Friday, that's a milestone I guess haha
3. Any vents/hair pats needed- I'm hanging in there. 11 days or less. I'm feeling ok with however this goes down, thanks to everyone's awesome input and advice and support in my thread last week. I'm just sick of walking downtown and people gawking at the huge pregnant lady, it's so awkward! It's also probably in my head more than in reality, haha.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have a big black lab mix and he was horrified/fascinated/obsessed when we brought home DD. After maybe 2 days he was like "Meh.. whatever" and went back to acting normal.

1. How far along are you? 34w3d...GULP.
2. Any milestones or big things to report? recliner is being delivered TOMORROW!!! and I've been working on getting the paper mobile done, hopefully I can knock it out by next week.
3. Any vents/hair pats needed: I'm kind of annoyed at the photog we hired for maternity and newborn photos....I messaged her a few weeks ago to check on availability, because I'm getting close and don't have many free weekends left. well, she had this weekend open so we booked her and paid the 50% deposit. when I messaged her yesterday to find out about scheduling and paying, she said "oh, when did you want to do it?" WE HAVE ALREADY HAD THIS CONVO, AND ALSO I AM THE CLIENT AND YOU SHOULD BE CHECKING WITH ME, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. ugh, so now HOPEFULLY we can get them done Sunday....unless a birth client of hers gets induced Saturday. then I don't know what we're gonna do, unless we can do it next Saturday before I have work, or THE NEXT Saturday which is also my shower and oh yeah, I'LL BE 37 WEEKS BY THEN AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MATERNITY PICTURES DONE BEFORE MY CHILD ARRIVES.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? we have a pug and a corgi mix...they haven't really been around kids that much, so it will be interesting to see. we're pretty sure one of them is going to be indifferent/scared of the baby, and one is going to be obsessed. we just don't know which is which yet, lol

1. How far along are you? 29w2d
2. Any milestones or big things to report? passed my 3 hour GTT. Was totally expecting to fail, but a nice relief.
3. Any vents/hair pats needed It's bad enough that dh travels nearly every week for work, but I get so bitter when he gets to travel AND do fun things (last week he was at the Stanley Cup playoff game in Chicago). Yesterday, he asked how I felt about him going white water rafting 3 weeks before my due date while traveling for work in Colorado... my super mature response was that I want to make sure our life insurance is current and I want a hell of a push present.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have a small dog who was great with both girls, but she's old now. I don't even know that she will notice or care.
1. 23+6 2. Not really 6 month is this Friday (6 MONTHS... WTF) 3. Like Mrs.flang, I got the heart burn and since this baby is breach all the time he just kicks at my cervix like it is no ones business. So, I am kinda over that. It is nice to lay in bed with H and feel him move around but when I am sitting he kicks straight down all day.
H is supposed to build me a bed frame b/c it is annoying to try to get out of the bed that's been on the floor.
My old dog is with us for the week since my parents are out of town. I love him dearly but he is an old poop knuckle that likes to wake me up all night (1 am, 3 am...) and whimper as he does the stairs (he doesn't have to come upstairs he just wants to), but I cannot carry him (50+ lbs). So, I am torn with feeling badly and wanting to yell, "No, I am not going to give you food shut up and go to bed."
4. Our other dog was raised with 4 kids before being abandoned. I think she is afraid we will take her back to the pound, but I think she has some mothering instincts. So, it will be interesting
pirate, god you are so close! Are you freaking out yet? I had a mini heart attack b/c I was like shit I only have 3 months... and my whole world is going to change.

a day late, but I'll contribute
1. How far along are you? 20+5 (based on yesterday)
2. Any milestones or big things to report? 1/2 way!
3. Any vents/hair pats needed the headaches are back... I have been drinking tons of water, and taking tylenol daily... this sucks! Also, I had my annual health screen at work yesterday, they do a finger prick and test cholesterol (only good and total, not bad) and glucose. At 11:30 my glucose was 64, I ate a snack at 10 also my cholesterol was terrible, surprisingly to me, since it was great the last 2 times it was checked (229 total, my good was still good at 79).
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? My dog is a pit bull, the breed was known as the "nanny dog" before they got their bad rap for stupid human fighting them... she was excellent with C, and I am sure will be with this one too!

1. How far along are you?26+5 2. Any milestones or big things to report? Took my glucose test this morning. Fingers crossed I can skip the long one and not have GD 3. Any vents/hair pats needed Not really. I'm doing ok. 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? They were all here when DD came home and did great. The dog is the most patient creature ever and appreciates that babies drop food. The cats sniff around and ignore.
pirate, god you are so close! Are you freaking out yet? I had a mini heart attack b/c I was like shit I only have 3 months... and my whole world is going to change.
I go back and forth a lot! Practically speaking, I think we're ready. Bags packed, nursery set up (although not 100% decorated), car seat installed and inspected. I don't FEEL ready but I'm trying to just tell myself that's normal and I've done the best I can, I guess.
2. Any milestones or big things to report? Not pregnancy related, but I just finished my last class. EVER. I graduate next Friday with my MSW! Now I just have to focus on finishing my internship up this week, and I am done!!
3. Any vents/hair pats needed ? Not really.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? I have two very rambunctious cats. They're more like dogs some days. I'm hoping they'll grow to love the baby as much as us, but I'm sure initially they'll be like, "WTF, what is this thing??"

I think a lot of parenting is going to be like that, and I am sure you guys are going to do awesome! Today I have been jittery thinking about it all.

So late to this!
1. 30w tomorrow
2. nope
3. I'm trying not to complain, but I huuuuurt. I really dislike being pregnant, so I'm trying to focus on being excited instead. I've been trying to predict her personality based on her movements. Anyone else do this?
4. We have an 8yo Australian Shepherd who will not be thrilled. I think he'll adjust to the baby phase, but the toddler phase worries me. He likes big kids though, so we'll see.
I think this might be my first time posting over here on GP
1. How far along are you? 9 weeks today.
2. Any milestones or big things to report? We announced to our families over the weekend! First grandchild on both sides. My mom has been really down about other pregnant cousins lately and our IF was hitting her pretty hard, so I'm glad we got to lift that weight from her shoulders. Everyone's over the moon
3. Any vents/hair pats needed The lady at my work cafeteria already knew that all I wanted for lunch today today was a side of rice. I wonder if I have "Miserable in First Tri" stamped on my forehead. I've done all of an hour's worth of work today...I'm mostly just sitting here like a zombie. I get to stop taking the extra estrogen and progesterone from IVF next week and my doctor and midwife think the nausea might improve then...I really hope so because I don't know how much more I can take.
4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? We have a Great Pyr-Golden mix. I think she's going to love the baby, she really seems to like little kids we see out in the neighborhood. She has a natural tendency to be very protective so I could see that becoming heightened.
1. How far along are you? 12w1d 2. Any milestones or big things to report? We found out we are having a girl. NT scan went well & all looks good 3. Any vents/hair pats needed.Nope 4. If you have furbabies how do you think they will (or how did they) react to bringing home the baby? None! Just a toddler!
